A country spends most of its lifetime muttering about "dfndn frdm" and watching people die in mass violence daily... and then when the promised tyrant actually shows up, everyone just watches and tuts. The thing that will determine the winner of an armed uprising is, as always, anyone with the unified backing of the military or the support of powerful external benefactors.

The result of any form of armed coup will always be decided by the military. You'll have to see how deep the administration can sink its claws there before something happens.
