As a hiring manager I don't want anyone who's religion is their whole identity to advance in the hiring process I don't give a fuck if you're Christian Jewish Muslim Hindi whatever I care if you're a good worker and if you make whatever imaginary sky entity you worship more important at the workplace then the actual work we do, I don't want you on my team.

Didn't Francis Scott Key write the Star Spangled Banner on a military ship during wartime?

We're actually closer in time today to Dredd (2012) than Dredd (2012) was from when the pyramids were built in ancient Egypt.

I think you are missing the issue here.

What the admin has stated is facts and their set of rules for participation here that aren't up for debate.

The issue at hand is whether your instance can act civilly and coexist within our sphere.

I'm concerned that you read this post and all you took from it was that "America is bad" I don't recall seeing anything about America listed in the original post.

It seems you are more concerned with pushing your pro-Russia agenda then debating the status of Lemm.ee's federation with Hexbear.

Honestly I think this is a good example of what folks from the Hexbear instance are interested in. Not all, but many are much more interested in derailing threads and promoting Russian propaganda and ideology above being engaged participants in the communities they visit.

I believe that this lowers the overall experience of other users. I don't know if defederation is 100% the right answer, but I do hate opening a comment section hoping to find civil discourse about the topic of the original post and finding a bunch of trolls derailing it.

The worst part to me was that before the girl whose wallet it was checked her bank account and saw all the charges, this lady was "helping" her look for it in the store.

I hired a woman once to work in the retail store I was managing at the time. After lunch, I noticed one of my long time employees crying in the break room. She had lost her wallet and whoever took it had wiped out her bank account at the Walmart next door. I called the manager over there and he pulled up the video and low and behold it was the new lady over there buying up gift cards. We called the police and after verifying what happened, they asked me if I wanted them to handle it quietly or to make a scene. I chose make a scene and they went into the backroom handcuffed her, told her why she was being arrested in front of everyone and marched her out. Needless to say HR agreed it should be an immediate termination.
