They don't delete reports from record when they're deemed not credible. Not even when they're proven false.

The report was made a couple months before the 2020 election. Many others also made wild reports. I saw two others in the Epstein files made literally 6 days for the election.

That's not true. You need credible evidence that something illegal happened. An uncorroborated report almost 40 years after the incident, made just weeks before the 2020 election is not credible or useful for prosecution.

Happens all the time in the legal field. I once got a document in discovery that inverted the proper redactions. It was a roster of identifying information, all unredacted except for the actual relevant person in the case — that was redacted. 🤣

Redacting with black boxes over text is more common of a mistake than that.
