I'm pretty sure Anytype is finally open sourcing their code after years of it being in alpha though?

it exists, I have it enabled so that by holding on a comment, all the child comments hide.

alternatively, all comments for all parent comments hide with one click on the minimise button via the bottom tool bar

Loved bitwarden but switched to 1Password recently because their UI is so much nicer. ik, weird reason.

also because it was free with GitHub Student.

Gonna agree with the others, if you want really good cameras, get the Pixel.

I went from an S22+ (with really bad battery life) to an S23 Ultra and can finally enjoy Samsung without worrying about battery.

The size is annoying though, especially in pockets and bags.

My personal wishlist includes

  1. More lockscreen clock styles by default
  2. More optimisations to animations to make them more Pixel-like
  3. AI wallpapers by Google announced at Google I/O
  4. Lockscreen widgets
  5. Maybe a UI redesign to more closely match stock android? idk

Whilst Google announced a ton of AI powered features for Android 14 at Google I/O, it seems like most of them will be Pixel exclusive...

Hoping Samsung does more with OneUI 6 since Google's really pushing for Pixel exclusivity on Android now 🙄

Does anyone even like cinematic photos? I just don't like the way they move.

there should be a way to join Lemmy communities with a Kbin account, but try this

in the Kbin search bar:

  1. type @REPLACEthisWITHf1COMMUNITY@lemmy.server.here
  2. replace the fields and see if you can subscribe
[-] Devgard@lemmy.world 7 points 1 year ago

the UX can be a bit clunky, such as opening links to other communities and not being able to subscribe, but overall it's been quite fun so far. a lot more fun than mastodon as its quite serious (as any twitter substitute would be)
