I feel like I should get it but help me out here, please?

It’s Krafton. Just look at what became of PUBG. I mean it’s an OK game and a lot of QoL came to it after all these years, but there hasn’t been any major meta shift in 5 years or so. Only recently they’ve started looking into how broken certain semiauto snipers are.

Instead you are drowned in lootboxes and emotes

I agree with the OP that reddit is a dumpsterfire, but when you try to fit reasoning into everything, at some point you come up with something that fits, even though it is nothing but a coincidence.

I seriously doubt investors give two fucks about the content moderation itself

Honestly only the dumbest fucks still keep up the grudge. It’s literally the same type of person that gets attracted to populism, e.g. Trump – got instilled strong sense of nationalism, everyone’s wronging us, etc.

I am 2nd gen diaspora and really tired of the circus. I have tried to read up on the Yugoslavian war to come up with an objective picture, and it is wild how differing takes you get from people.

There are certain actors that are trying to ”Make Serbia Great Again”, and of course there is the short-sighted knee-jerk reaction on the ”opposing” side in neighboring countries. There have been violent border incidents spawning out of nowhere. I wouldn’t be surprised if it is all a facade to draw attention from the country’s internal political issues.

It was a horrible war instilled by a handful of people, there were no true winners, and people who were once treating each other like brothers and sisters were turned against each other. Anyone trying to instill the hatred and bitterness, especially OUTSIDE the area, is an idiot.

Don me a tinfoil hat, but I think it is absolutely within the realm of possible that half my networked electronics has a backdoor to one or another governmentsl agency. Or that my ”encrypted” WhatsApp conversations are available to US officials if need be.

Luckily I am as interesting as a slice of bread gone stale

Too late. Steam Deck and Proton proved linux gaming is doable for most part, and my home PC is getting a UNIX next time I need to update the OS

Okay but how does AI/Automation/etc. cause a mass murder if the preoccupying assumption of automation is, quite literally, increase of technological efficiency and advancement?

What progression?

[–] Dioxid3@lemmy.world 19 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Oof. I wouldve loved something like Watchy. Extra painful when you use your own time to basically fix their product for them but they just don’t have any clue what they are doing

Nice, thanks! I am already looking forward to the controls of Steam Deck, looking at your and the other comments about it!

Now this is what I am talking about! Those are some really good pointers. I can totally see myself being too hasty with the initial boot. I’ll definitely follow these tips, thanks a ton!

Here’s an award for ya! 🏆
