I kinda noticed the first one, but didn't think it had anything to do with taking offense. The second one I haven't noticed at all as well as the third one (the third one is especially bullshit in my opinion).
My God, this is still going on. I'm still having trouble comprehending whether this is just a very elaborate parody. The term "master race" is not in any way offensive and even if it is (to a small amount of people) they are perfectly within their right to be offended, but not to ban other people from using it.

Zaista volim open source i svedoci smo nekih zaista sjajnih projekata sa tom licencom, ali ne verujem da će pobediti closed source, makar ne u kapitalističkom sistemu.
Da bi neki projekat zaživeo potrebna mu je podrška kompanije koja u najvećem broju slučajeva nije voljna da otvori kod široj javnosti (Adobe, Nvidia, Apple.. ima ih dosta), a open source alternative obično nisu kompletne poput njihovih zatvorenih konkurenata (Adobe je ovde takođe dobar primer).
Doduše, ipak nije sve tako crno. Postoje određeni projekti koji imaju boost od strane kompanija i doživljavaju uspeh u svom područiju. Linux je evidentno primer, najkorišćeniji os za servere, sada može doživeti i određen uspeh na desktopu zahvaljujući Valve-u i protonu. Naravno, to i dalje ostavlja problem pro softvera koji još nije dostupan, ali prosečna osoba bez naročito egzotičnog use case-a može koristiti Linux kao daily driver.
Takođe postoje i projekti za koje nisam siguran da bi ikad bili pogurani od strane kompanija, ali su i dalje uspešni, poput emulatora, kojima iskreno takva podrška i ne treba. Sećam se da dok je rpcs3 još bio u razvoju, jedna MGS igra je bila problematična i nije mogla da se pokrene. Napravljen je fork emulatora koji je mogao da je pokrene, ali čije promene nisu dodate u glavni projekat zato što bi pokvarile kompatibilnost sa drugim igrama.
Postoji i određena količina toksičnosti u open source krugovima. PolyMC je bio popularan minecraft launcher iz kog su u jednom trenutku izbačeni svi članovi sem jednog uz poruku "purged the leftoids". Nakon toga su ljudi izgubili poverenje u projekat, a izbačeni članovi osnovali Prism Launcher. Srećom ja sam koristio fork koji omogućava korišćenje oflajn naloga (zapamtite deco, piraterija se uvek isplati) i nisam morao da menjam launcher.

To be completely fair, he nuked his desktop environment when it absolutely shouldn't have happened. Yes, there was the warning and he should've read it, but coming from Windows, how many times is the "This app may harm your PC" threat legitimate? Linus made an honest mistake, but pop truly made a massive oversight.
Kinda. I may have set up a Mac OS VM on my computer and downloaded Final Cut and Logic Pro just to say "Ha! Fuck you Apple!". I have no GPU passed through. I don't know why I did this.
