difficult economic times

code for the parent company investors were not able to scrape their cut off the top without cutting pay role. companies like that have one single product - not games or software or widgets - but the quarterly profit cell within accounting's excel spreadsheet

Looked up the band to get the name (Shifty Shellshock) and found this gem from 2023. This band needs therapy

I have a NUC-like Win10 PCs running the few different TVs at home. One jellyfin server + NUC with a Firefox browser running a separate user for each room living \ bed \ work rooms lets each TV play the same content as I'm working around cleaning up and doing chores. The hardest choice was it to be an DS9 or Voyager marathon Easter.

Each client is able to play\ pause \ resume and it just works, they all respond.

great feature. many thanks.

Wolbachia is crazy. depending on what insect / animal you are Wolbachia will either make you sterile, or the only way to become fertile. "I Contain Multitudes" by Ed Yong goes into detail - his book is easily digestible and a fun science read

I had the same difficulty with Lemmy’s captchas. Took multiple attempts before I figured out the right letters. The audio description helped a lot because it calls out which letters are capitalized. I’s and l’s and 1’s should be banned from those things.
