For everyone else it is just "2 weeks", but Putin gets 50 days? Amazing....

On the other hand, none off this matters anyway, because TACO. I would be surprised if, in 50 days, anything changes.

Yeah, we have hard times ahead, and probably a lot of people will die, but I don't see humanity go extinct any time soon.

I recommend to watch "A case for optimism" from Melodysheep , which goes into that a lot more.

There will be no other administration trying to roll back these things for at least 3.5 years and at that point a lot of the damage is probably permanent.

So I really wonder what the world (and the USA specifically) will look like in 10-20 years or so...

It's so much back and forth all the time, that I don't even know anymore what the current tariff rate is. 10%? None? Probably not even worth remembering though, because it changes all the time randomly anyway

I'm not in the US and not planning to go there any time soon, so I'm good. I agree with the sentiment in general though😅

Yeah, it's insane. Usually I don't follow what Trump says 1:1, but read about it in some news article, social media, etc. That is bad enough, but when I actually hear him speak sometimes, I need to cringe so bad... And then I remember a majority of Americans either decided "yep, that guy seems the best option" or "can't see a difference between the candidates" and I lose all hope in humanity.

Well, need to have good mechanisms to keep it democratic (where Russia and the US fall short). But yeah, not as easy as "just do it, lol" 😅

I would say it probably makes more sense in countries that are really hawkish about torrenting (like Germany) and you don't want to risk being caught.

I would go for a walk every day😅
