Lol what a based meme. $249 to lockheed but the $12 triggers the rant.

Imagine hitting a dent in that bulge. Metal doesn't dent back out, I'll be a struggle to walk or strip your armor while it is crushed the entire time.

It is today's equivalent to catching it between your zipper.

No.

My mom got double brain aneurism. Had her head cut open to put clamps on the leaking arteries.

Slipped into a coma, few days later doctor came in to convince us for prepping her for organ donor, dad said it was too early.

Another few days later doctors came in being really rude that all she was good for was organ donor. Had a heated conversation with my dad who got tired and said "fck off doctors".

Few days later she woke up. After revalidation she has a healthy life, this was 37yrs ago, she still lives, she is 71.

My dad told my awake mum and since I was underaged opted me out for organ donor. Needles to say, I am reluctant to opt myself back in.

Optional read: aftermath of the aneurism is that the part of the brain to process visual data was damaged. Other parts of her brain took that role but is not as effective. Her depth perception any further that 10m is gone. She has no vertical peripheral processing, so she has to tilt her head up or down to recognize what she noticed i' her peripheral, one cannot imagine this seeing something but unable to recognize until you point your head at it :) in the end, very good outcome.

Marvel just should've called her "black window", it's more realistic that way.

I have exactly the same. Therapy doesn't work. There is no cure other than faking it. You have to let your rational mind win from that primal repulsive feeling. I also feel immense guilt for feeling this way about innocent little humans.

I still avoid children when I can. This has created a gap between my friends and me, they all have kids. I never go to their place, we always meet in public. I never told them but I think they know, because they don't treat me differently when I tactically withdraw when children get involved.

Interestingly this is measurable. I have a garmin watch and whenever children are close for 15 mins, I get a relaxation reminder telling me to do breathing exercises. So this mental defect manifests itself physically.

I refuse to watch videos with a thumbnail showing an open mouth.

The built-in "storm the front" and "go go go" voice buttons is all we needed.

Germany was bailed out in the 50's after ww2. The world canceled half their debt and gave them reduced interest rates making it possible for germany to develop a strong economy because they had a lot of coal resources.

My take on this, they got bailed out too generously giving them an advantage over all the other countries who also suffered from the war.

They forgot were they came from and forgot they were once bailed out. Proof of that is when Greece needed a bail out during the recession years ago, it was germany who lead the terms for it asking too much too quickly from Greece. The rest of eu citizens were like "wtf germany, who do you think you are?". (I explicitly say "citizens" because the eu parlement were just bootlicking mighty germany)

They then tried to boost their image again with their "wir schaffen das" during the migration crisis. The rest of eu citizens again like "wtf germany, who do you think you are?".

The credibility of germany took a major hit because their interests do not lie with the people but with their image. If you spit in the faces of the people who made you big, you are not to be trusted and bad things will happen.

Form over function. It is a wearable, give it a bezel to bump with instead of cuved glass.
