We just did an interview with a guy at my oxford house (sober living), and while he did get accepted, we asked him to wait outside.

and everyone starting making fun of him for being autistic and talking about how 'weird' he was. Even my own brother.

the house president was like "its been said hes an autistic"

Me and one other dude were like, lets give him a chance man. He did get accepted, but man i hate that shit

Why are people like this?

in writing a story with a northern irish protestant/ Ulster scot as the main character in it. its going to take place in 1850s victorian england. Would he have faced any prejudice similar to a catholic irishman? Or would he have been treated completely differently?

i honestly have no clue

Then they'll try to reason themselves out of it with mental gymnastics.

"Well shes mostly of spanish descent anyways, it wont be too much like racemixing"

Theyre so afraid to admit theyre attracted to a slightly brown woman lol.

I think people like stephen miller wanted the fucking wall and immigration shit more than trump did. Hes still a piece of shit dont get me wrong, i just think he said what people like stephen miller told him would help him win and make his base worship him more

theres a story that dip shit lindsey graham tells about how trump was amenable to a daca agreement, then a bit later on stephen miller got in his ear and thats when he said the "why do we want people from shithole countries coming here?" comment and then rejected the deal.

i guess that was just a tldr to say trump has always been a puppet for freaks like stephen miller to me.

i wish stephen miller was called out more.

Does anyone else think he just doesnt want to do this shit anymore? he never truly cared about a wall of any of that shit, he just wanted what was good for himself and his ego.

Scotland became part of the UK because a bunch of aristocrats wanted the same power england had. The average peasant scot had no say really in the matter.

I've seen the far right response to this. They'll say it's blood and not his birth certificate or passport that makes him british. They make memes about this shit.

My father is of mostly old stock british ancestry (his family has been in the US since before the revolutionary war). To these wierd chuds I'd be more british than the attacker even though he was born in britain and my family has been in the US for over 300 years.

So basically just roving gangs of violent young and middle aged thugs looking to beat up and harm anyone who the perceive to be Arab or Muslim?

Like they'd be burning these people to death Salem witches trials esque if they could get away with it?

This seems to be the UK's unite the right tikki torch moment.

Has anyone been killed yet? I know people have been beaten up and mosques burned down.

My step dad would always make sure to make me feel like shit about being unemployed and having no money during the time I wasn't working for a couple of years.

Yes but you also lied. I was expecting an owl, not a person. Asshole

Aye... sorry about that friend. It's not in me to be mean to anyone. I usually get my feelings hurt at rejection, but I don't threaten to harm a woman over rejection.

Really you just deal with maybe hurt feelings for a couple days and then you pick yourself up and move on. Or at least that's what i tend to do

That's not love and that's not companionship. I fail to see the point of wanting a relationship with someone you had to intimidate into giving you a chance or something.

Do people actually think this is funny? Genuinely curious. Obviously it's a satirical post, but it's just not that funny to me.

Wonder if it's a good idea to get the fuck out of here
