Beijing’s policy biases also paint a bleak picture for consumption going forward. The take-up of electric vehicles (EVs) and investment in high-speed rail have blunted Chinese demand for petrol, which is set to peak by 2025, the International Energy Agency said in June."

You weren't joking. Bleak for who, Bloomberg!?

And the policy bias bs. The children of China crave the refreshing vapors of car pollution and the evil ccp is taking it aways from them.

The best defense is a good... encircling of potential rivals with disposable puppet states who prop up your inflated MIC.

"Nor has it [China] publicly offered a viable alternative to America’s actions."

Ansar Allah: 'did we fucking stutter?'

Such smug confidence can't be wrong!

Is this a genuine question or sarcasm?

We're FiGhTIng FoR tHe sOuL Of AmErIcA!1!

Continues criminalizing refugees and poverty, continues funding genocide, escalates economic warfare against China, sends hundreds of thousands of bodies to die or be maimed to protect unipolarity.

Seeing Biden give credence to bullshit propaganda about beheaded babies while committing without reservation to genocidal retaliation was nauseating. Without any acknowledgement of decades of proven Israeli crimes against humanity and the absolute immiseration of Palestinian people. Generations born and murdered inside a concentration camp. The colonial hegemony is so fucking desperate to defend the bloated corpse of the old empire. I'm so tired of hearing the pearl clutching criticism of Hamas or Palestinians tactics from the 'left.'

How many Palestinians must die before they are allowed to fight back? Should they schedule their attacks around music festivals held at the fucking walls of their prison at a military base? Should they consider how colonists might feel scared?

It's just liberal bait, best to ignore them.

When rail unions were preparing for a potential strike, Biden made it illegal for them to do so.

Rail unions wanted to strike for better benefits, vacation time most importantly as the corporations had them working a lot of hours with virtually no paid time off. Part of 'efficiency' in the pursuit of profit, running as much freight, with as few train engines and workers also means greater wear on the infrastructure and less maintenance work being done. All this contributes to the more regular occurrence of accidents, some incredibly damaging to public health and the environment.

They got some minor benefit increases, but i don't believe much, if anything, related to their main complaints. And now they have no real recourse. The only credit Biden and the democrats should get is from their capitalist sponsors.

Here's an opinion piece summary from a rail union member

It seems to me they don't want to get embroiled in a proxy war with NATO. They have a longstanding policy of non-intervention which has kept them free of conflict and able to focus on improving the economic life of their citizens. Avoiding conflict allows the CPC more time to develop its economy and global connections in ways that will defeat the American hegemony in the long run. Every year the forces of capital hollow out western economies, particularly in actual industrial production, while China continues planned development.

We cannot place all our hope for the defeat of capitalism and imperialism in the CPC. It is weird to expect China to stand in open opposition to the global order before it makes strategic sense and will benefit their people.

Can't wait for the oh so mournful reporting on children still being maimed by failed munitions in 10 years. What an unfortunate and unavoidable situation that we have never created before and is certainly not still happening in places like Cambodia.

This is the geopolitical analysis we need. Everything should be understood through the lens of mediocre western pop culture. Was Hitler more of a Chandler or a Monica? Was G.W. Bush like Anakin Skywalker being manipulated by Palpatine/Cheney?

Man, it's really opening my eyes. Now I understand why it was good to kill all those Iraqis.
