Dude they sell our data to advertisers and big data for profit. The least they can do is provide some services for us for the amount of analytics they collect from us on a daily basis.

"Boss, most of the bricks we have are broken in pieces. We can't build the wall per specifications."

"We have a deadline, get it done however possible by the end of the day today."

That's some nice air you have in the server room.

It would be a shame if it were replaced with Halon-134...

I can think of only a few reasons why the military would have you take training in Texas:

  • Gunslingin' with revolvers, single and akimbo

  • Practicing the perfect "Yeehaw"

  • Wrasslin'

  • Combat maneuver training in boots with spurs

  • Lasso training

Calling such people Nazis is counter productive and only inflames the current issues at hand.

If they talk like a Nazi, act like a Nazi, or sympathize with Nazis, I'm gonna call them a Nazi. There's no room to be tolerant here, Nazis have zero place in our society. And those that are Nazis are right wing and hide within the Republican party. That doesn't make them any less of a Nazi, and we should call them out on it.

I was working outside this week (Southern US) and it was an absolutely miserable week. After a half an hour I was drenched in sweat, and it was rolling off my hard hat, getting in my eyes, and I was forced to pace myself and work much slower than I would otherwise be able to do because the heat was that intense.

I was able to drink some of my coconut water reserve because it has the things plants crave.

It's definitely the worst summer heat I've felt since ever.

If they give you flak, just say it's part of your religion.

She's the best thing that's happened to the s scientific publishing field. I'm no longer a student but I still enjoy reading scientific papers and I'll be damned if I have to pay $20 per article (which doesn't go to the authors) since I no longer have access to a library that maintains relationships with these big publishers.
