I love how Hendy's (the UK rail minister) wiki page has already been updated. He now has two controversial incidents.....

"In 2013, Peter Hendy, who was then the Commissioner of Transport for London, was accused of engaging in a nine-month extramarital affair with a call girl. She alleged that Hendy provided her with several Oyster cards loaded with £10 as gifts.[18]

In 2024, Hendy faced significant criticism after a letter, released under a Freedom of Information request, revealed he pressured SYSTRA to dismiss an employee, rail engineer Gareth Dennis, for publicly voicing safety concerns regarding overcrowding at London’s Euston station"

I played rdr2 first and later played rdr1. Playing 1 made me want to play 2 again, which I did and loved it even more the 2nd time rpund.

I personally don't think playing them out of order ruins anything story wise. It's like watching or playing a sequel as opposed to a prequel if you play 2 first.

But...whilst rdr1 still looks and plays great, playing 2 first may take some of that away, as you'll be used to rdr2 which is just about as perfect a video game one can be. I'd therefore recommend 1 then 2.

Before getting into politics he spent most of his professional career as a human rights lawyer. This is a small snippet from his Wikipedia page - He was a member of Doughty Street Chambers from 1990, primarily working on human rights issues. He has been called to the bar in several Caribbean countries, where he has defended convicts sentenced to the death penalty.

Not sure how many white people there are in the Caribbean sentenced to death.

I can't tell if this is a joke or not. I obviously have not read the actual article, so that's on me.

I've been playing since d1 launched. I stopped a while back and dip in and out with each expansion but hate that I find myself not knowing what's what. I've held off on lightfall, given the reviews. Should I bother at £15 in the sale, or say my goodbye's?

I bought this to play on steam deck (played and completed it on console years ago). Unfortunately it crashes at the end of the first level when you jump down the chute. Gave up trying to find a solution and it being only a couple of £, I wrote it off. Seems like this might be the reason. Makes me want to try and get my £2 back.

The point is that 1 million is a big number (or a lot of money), as is 1 billion. But 1 billion is so big, it makes 1 million seem small by comparison. 1 thousand is not a big number.
