Floating point rounding issues are basic comp science issues. Hopefully nobody thinks that those are JavaScript quirks.

I don't believe any battery news unless they are sold to customers. They are always just full of shit, like some lab batteries that just are impossible to produce.

Solid state batteries have been around the corner for 20 years.

And 1,2MW charging, unless you are directly attached to power plant, that is not something that is going to ever happen in DC charging station. The 350kW stations are already in the edge what is possible.

And feast might already be there when you move in

I verified the number because it doesn't sound quite right. Walmart makes profit of roughly $20B yearly, per day that is $55M, the family owns around half.

So they make like $25M per day.

That is still insane amount of money, and probably also they do some tricks to lower the profit and hide the money through some loopholes, like all the millionaires/billionaires.

Nobody needs that kind of money, so they should be taxed like hell, but not in this world

Calling these new LLM's just if statements is quite a over simplification. These are technically something that has not existed before, they do enable use cases that previously were impossible to implement.

This is far from General Intelligence, but there are solutions now to few coding issues that were near impossible 5 years ago

5 years ago I would have laughed in your face if you came to suggest that can you code a code that summarizes this description that was inputed by user. Now I laugh that give me your wallet because I need to call API or buy few GPU's.

6 permission mean read+write, but no execution rights. So you cannot execute any commands and system bricks itself.

For efficiency you should you GOTO, so you can join trees that end up in same position.

Like those create your own adventures books.

I did chmod -R 666 / when I started playing with Linux in 1999. It did not end well.

Sudo didn't really exist back then, you ran things as root like real men. /s

EV6 is probably the best in tech, like the 800V system.

Have you had the issue with iccu? They are unfortunately quite common, friend of mine had it. They will fully fix it, but it takes up to month to fix because they don't have spare parts.

I have Seat Mii, and I also think it is best car purchase that I have ever made

I found from hard way that lemmy community urls are bit problematic. Here is the story, which contains bit NSFW material.

I was trying to figure out in Jerboa how to subscribe to community in another instance. First one that I came across, that i was not subscribed to was !hairypussy@pornlemmy. com. (I know, I know, I am a perv)

I copy pasted the community path to my android clipboard, and tried few ways in the app, and eventually gave up.

Some time passes, until I went to do some shopping. My wife and I use a shared shopping list. From this shopping list I found this beatiful community path.

My wife had a laugh, but I was worried that If she would have been bit more jelous side, she could have made a assumption from the structure of the path.

The thing is that !hairypussy @ pornlemmy. com looks like email address. This could have been misunderstood quuuite badly.

I am a coder also, so @ is sensible separator, and serves the same purpose as in email. Probably it should not change, but the structure can cause misunderstandings with some communities and lemmy instance urls. Of course here main issue is user error, and any link to some bad site can be issue, but people understand what website URL is.

Please let me know if this needs NSFW tag.
