Why does anyone who works not make their own company? It takes capital and a certain skill set as well as a risk tolerance.

yup. it reminds me a bit of nixon. growing up I understood he was bad but boy how rabidly upset he would make folks older than I. I did not get it but then I learned more and more about his actions and understood over time. Reagan same but experienced it. One thing is you don't even know the real bad stuff till its to late. People still don't seem to understand iran contra or the october surprise. effed up. now we just had trump. can you imagine the stuff we don't know yet. ugh.

I mean he has been quite a bit better than any president I have experienced in office but it is sad that the bar is so low.

yeah and seems like it would discourage anyone from opening a store.

meh.im happier as a member of the federation and honestly if we got all the reddit users it would lower the quality fast.

yeah and im a big supporter (well relative to what I see on the internets) but obviously all of it is not attributable to him. All the same there have been more things that actually improve my quality of life over what any other president has done in my lifetime and all in one term with an adversarial congress. I loved obama but man he wasted a nice majority trying to play fair with a bunch of known cheaters.

10k!? This is what letting in all these immigrants does. Hows a fella supposed to make a cush living when its just being given away.

wow. this is the best comment I have seen on it. I feel sorta similar. Whats been done is just monsterous but man the situation is so ridiculous and I wish the US and the rest of the world had done many different things post ww2.

Never understood that attitude. As folks mention the math for most of us does not seem to include any type of voluntary retirement and when we do its going to be because we are so messed up we can't work which likely means we won't be able to game. Seriously though, even before our electronic age, there are so many worthwhile things to do outside of clocking into a job.

Capitalism is great for handling things that are relatively unimportant. So you don't want it for medical, education, infrastructure (including utilities), etc. Its fine for things like fashion or the various things might have around the house. Even then it must be highly regulated.

Space:
the final frontier.
These are the rotations, of the space station.
9!
Its continuing mission:
to explore one strange world;
to be seeked out by new life and new civilizations;
to boldly stay where no one has stayed before!

Today on npr they mentioned 1.5 being likely within 10 years and could result in catastrophic consequences. Um ah. So half of north america being on fire and the other half along with europe and china have weeks of record breaking heat is not catastrophic along with all the drought!!!
