What a stupid statement. Yeah, in an ideal fantasy world, we wouldn't have to work and robots and shit would do everything for us. However... we do not live in that world and people need access to a good paying jobs.

The problem is that those greedy corporate motherfuckers pay slave wages and abuse the people and legal system to pay as little as possible for 100% of you time and life.

Get real and vote for those who support gainful employment.

Shapshifting eldritch horrors are all I've ever wanted from Project Zomboid. After 11 years in the making, B42 coming through on those promises.

Depends on how you define "further". I'd like to leave this earth knowing I had a positive impact on those i met while I was here. I can sleep easy at night, even dispte all the hardships in my life atm, knowing I'm doing the best with what it is I have. Also, in my early 30's, I started to really internalize the, "having nice things means keeping things nice" i.e. you don't need new shiny things all the time. Take care of what you already have and you'll never be without.

I can't lie and manipulate my way into being a kind and honorable man, friend, son and brother. Me achieving those things brings me greater peace of mind and satisfaction than anything I'd ever need to lie my way into to get.

I haven't liked Snoops new music in decades. But The Chronic, Doggy Style, a lot of stuff he did with The Dogg Pound, 2Pac all those OG G-Funk bangers are such a huge part of my childhood and I've kept them close to my heart since the 90s. He's unrecognizable now. However, I'm not going to deny myself the albums that are a part of who I am and what makes me me just because a ridiculously rich and global famous ex-G loses his way. It's not even the same guy anymore. It may be the same vessel, but what his music represents to me from those very early days are just too important to me.

I was about to call bullshit on this because I thought there was no fucking way. I hadn't heard any of that before just a few minutes ago because I had too look it up. how embarrassing. G-Funk LBC King aka Mr 'Break the white man off something lovely, I don't love them so them can't love me" playing into the hands of the embodiment of all the absolute worst aspects of rich white dude culture. I'm so yuked out rn.

So, we still have about 2,000,000 in our federal prison systems but I'm sure the prisons going up across the boarders, technically not on US land, won't factor into that number in years to come. Incarcerate more and show stats telling us citizens the number is actually going down...

Has it ever been more relevant?

I don't think there has ever been a harder drop for a 1st timer. This came out before The Chronic. Dre after NWA but before his solo career. Very unique track that really shaped the world of mainstream west coast/G-Funk hiphop.

I'm not usually one to share my art but I've been really wanting to branch out and share it with others because I'm about to make a big step forward in life. This is my latest piece. I designed all the models in Blender and made all the tool-pathing for my CNC machine in this wonderful program called VCarve Pro. Also, shout out to Krita for being the best magic bullet to get ideas from my brain to a format that I can start editing. Basically takes 1 500 x 500 MDF for the 14mm thick base x x2 500 x 500 sheets of Lauan plywood for the reflectors, boarder and the words which lovingly and accurately describes what JWST truly is deep down, a straight-up science gangster. The black lettering and hexagon lines I did by cutting text pockets in the wood then filling them with an epoxy + enamel paint mix. And after a good sanding and oil coating, this is where I'm at. Still trying to develop a way of mounting the piece to the wall as well as a better way of getting the text on the JWST model itself.

Also, you can't really see it from this angle, all the reflectors are facing inward towards a single point. Eventually I'll make the OTE (The black thing in the middle where nothing sits as of now)

I'm still working out the kinks but I plan on making the next one even better... which is currently being made right next to me.

Ya'll said no stupid questions, so here it goes... I've been on a huge Coolio kick the past 6 months or so I've been listening to his albums but haven't watched any of this music videos. Tonight, I decided to smoke some weed (Not a super regular thing for me) and watch some Coolio music videos. Do any fellow 90's kids recognize any of the three other guys in the car with Coolio? If this isn't the place to ask, I'd really appreciate some direction.

I just saw another post with a cat named Penny. Here's my girl, Penny. I'm her person and she's my soul kitty. You can always find her in the kitchen fussing for food, in her princess bed or in her dad's lap.
