Trap him in the house. "If you don't rock and stone you ain't going home."
There was a time where I'd boot up Libre office for tasks that Google docs wouldn't cover. But it's been so long I don't remember what it was.
Now I just use Docs for all my personal work.
Nostalgia trip right here. This song got played at just about every major boyscout camp I went to. And from what I know, still gets played at those camps.
The simplest TTRPG I've used is FATE. I've had very good sessions with this system and the simplicity of it encourages Role Playing over mechanical complexity/min-maxing.
I'd consider having a spare account on hand as a backup for if your instance is down for maintenance or something.
I'm new here but if I stick around long enough I'll probably get up my own server/instance(s) for the various parts of the fediverse I participle in. Mostly because it sounds neat and partially because it would allow other people I know to have a fediverse "home" operated by a familiar face (if the fediverse gets popular among the mainstream).
Right now it's just Lemmy, but I may eventually participate in Mastodon, Matrix, Peertube, Owncast and.
I'm going to wait first though to see if the Lemmy userbase (and platform) remains healthy and/or grows. Then would come the hard part of setup, I'm familiar with technology, but nowhere near a professional or a hobbyist (unless you count gaming).
I like these kind of video game communities, ones that are about a genre or subgenre and not just one game. It makes the community more active when there is more than one game to discuss.
I'm going to bookmark this. Thanks for finding/creating this.
I love draft games (Magic player here, but I don't hate draft a ton). Been thinking about picking up Sushi Go but my current living situation severely limits my ability to play board games.
The mechanic is very nice flavor-wise and fine as a mechanic but it doesn't scratch any of my MTG itches. I'm a fan of combos and engines, and the mechanic does not lend itself well to that play style.
So it's designed to be an easy to play ttrpg inspired by retro games and old cartoons/anime.
I'll use the preset responses sometime for Google but that's as far as it goes. It's very cool that you've found a way to help your anxiety by using it though.
