Yeah everything installed via the Microsoft store is encrypted and won't run outside the little sandbox it lives in. Hopefully someday someone figures it out but it looks unlikely anytime soon
Sadly no, the PC Bedrock version is very much Windows only. Your only options are to either use the Bedrock Launcher which as you know already requires the android version, or if your goal is to play with friends to use Waterfall MC. Its a server mod that allows both Java and Bedrock players to join the same world
I think the way it works is that banning just prevents them from making more posts/comments. The admin has to purge the user from the instance to actually remove the content
Yeah I'm shocked at how quick people forgot Fallout 76, and the plethora of other broken Bethesda releases.
Don't get me wrong I'd love for it to be good, but I've just been burned too many times to trust it at launch haha
Thankfully I was not subscribed to that community so I wasn't hit by it, but wow it's a bad situation. I will certainly be more wary and keep an eye on things, ready to purge any images just in case
I'm in this picture and I don't like it
As someone else mentioned, Terra Nil is exactly this, another good one is Eco. You do chop down trees and mine and stuff but the goal is to be environmentally sustainable. The goal is to stop a meteor from blowing up your planet but you need to sustainably get there otherwise you'll end up polluting the planet and making stuff worse in the process. Underrated but really good
Man I'm glad I got grandfathered in to their lifetime license, that's really expensive
I settled on Fedora after distro hopping then the whole RHEL stuff happened and I'm so annoyed haha
I'll probably stick with it for the time being, but I should probably have an exit strategy
If Revolt had federation I'd be more willing to root for it but the devs have made it clear they have no plans to do so :(
Regardless it's a cool piece of software and more competition is a good thing. It'll be cool to see how it matures
Same thing for me, my domains were set to renew in August, but I transferred to Hover (cloudflare didn't directly support my tld) but I set up my nameservers with Cloudflare.
Everything google touches dies, I'm very distrustful of any of their services, I should probably think of moving off gmail too haha
Correct, its not that it wouldn't be able to run, the DRM on it is just so restrictive
