I have been and will continue to. Especially once Baconreader goes dark. This is my new home, reddit account already deleted.

I'm staying, but I'll use both. I use Baconreader, there's no other way I'll interact with reddit. But I'll go back as a lurker. Already overwote my comments and deleted my account. I don't trust them to not pull this shit in the future even if they did change their minds this time.

I'm really enjoying Lemmy though, been a great place to interact, especially with jerboa! A lot of similarities to baconreader, enough that the only "shock" was the less users so discussion is a little slower. But it's still a really great place in my opinion and I'll continue using it for the future.

I used the power delete suite to get a backup of all my shit, change all comments to "bye reddit" and then delete them. I'm done with reddit unless spez is gone and they back track waaaay the fuck back

Another fun bit, they're federal charges. Which 97% of the time lead to convictions. Feds don't fuck around, they don't leave much room for error. Now the question is whether he spends time behind bars. 37 counts on the indictment is a lot and I hope he rots in jail.

One campaign were doing a run of the Mines of Phandelver, I'm playing a sapient mushroom that was granted the body of a dying druid by Melora (circle of the spores of course). We just entered wave echo caves and it's getting exciting! I'm terrified we're under leveled, but I think we'll manage.

The other game is a homebrew based in Taldorei, I'm playing a halfling bard (college of glamour). We're in Emon and currently on a mission to capture or kill a myriad ravager warlord. Just entered the tower in the dumbest way possible and I have a feeling we might tpk in there... But our DM loves to throw us a bone every now and then. Hell I died and he let our travel time go a bit quicker to get me healed.

I'd be so happy if baconreader switched, but I don't have high hopes.

I didn't even have to buy Zelda cause my gf got a free copy. I'm jobless at the moment (Uber doesn't really count), so free games are a must. If I really like anything I download, I have a list I plan to pay for when I'm not shit broke lol

Just joined Lemmy, logged out of my reddit account last night. I'm done with reddit, they've fucked around for too long. 13 years on that site for them to absolutely fuck us.

I'm very much enjoying it here though, I can lurk (while still upvoting to ensure I participate), I can get a lot of the same stuff here. Less commentary, but that'll change as this place grows. Unless reddit cedes and spez fucks off, I doubt I'll go back. Thanks for accepting me Lemmy, y'all are dope.
