I wonder how this affects all the people who recently got a free premium pass from an Epic giveaway

I really detest people abusing Discord like an unsearchable wiki with dozens of (locked) channels filled with sticky posts.

But why does it always have to become the dystopian art? Why not the post-materialiatic optimistic Star Trek kind of art?

It was a game called The Dark Eye (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Dark_Eye_(role-playing_game)). It was weird but fun, and my first foray into ttrpg as a kid. After that I got into AD&D 2nd edition (with the weird backwards THAC0) and also Warhammer 40K (2nd edition). Yeah, I'm really showing my age here 😄

The problem is that they are optimizing for the wrong values. They are looking at retention, but the ideal dating app should have bad retention! You get a couple of matches, you chat, date, exchange real numbers and you're inactive on the app!

As much as that sucks, it's virtually impossible to make both an engine and a game. If a company wants to ship games, they shouldn't build their own engine.

I'm looking for a new gaming laptop. It's impossible to find any with an AMD GPU here.
