I think industrial capacity is a major factor in a conventional war. The moment it turns into an assymetric war, industrial capacity stops being a factor of much importance

Why should it be left behind? Just let it join Russia. It's not like Ujrianains would miss Russian filled areas now would they?

Well, aren't the Ukrainian people racist toward Russians? Them letting their Russian speaking areas join Russia wouldn't do them any bad then, would it?
