NC governor is a Democrat (and was on Harris's short list for VP)
While the legislature is Republican run our AG & Secretary of State are both Democrats and it will be quite difficult for Republicans to gum up the election I'm sure they will try though

About 77% where I am
Mid 50s here. One of the biggest factors for me has been how long it takes to recover from the wear and tear of being active. In my 20s I could be sore in the afternoon from exercise in the morning but be fine by evening. Now 48 hrs is typical. At my age I'm only focusing on maintenance and injury prevention.
I'm sure there are many that go to med school because they want to help under-served communities but end up needing to chase $ to pay off student debt.
Imagine working at McDonald's and telling a customer you won't give him his cheeseburger because of your religious beliefs.
They better make a decision pretty quickly - I know here in NC absentee ballots get sent out early September.
