Here's to hoping some of you out there can get this card into your rig at MSRP.
I think #2 and #4 are the worst offenders on this list.
I personally don't eat veal or wagyu because I think it's pretty fucked up
As for #4, we ended up getting a global pandemic from a wet foods (read: raw/fresh meat) market in Wuhan
On #8, the claim is more complex than I can cover or get into in a single post, but for reductionistic reasons, let's assume it's logically true
I know admitting being a carnivore in a vegan sub is a downvote magnet, but /vegan/ seems to be a default community on Lemmy, so it ends up on the front page.
I'm reminded of the stories of the "blindfolded angels", e.g: Mercy and Justice both covering their eyes, to be able to judge innocence impartially.
I think, if said angels were to remove their blindfolds and observe what damage humanity has wrought upon creation, they'd destroy **all** of us -- vegan, vegetarian and carnivore alike; we'd all drown or burn together. I don't think degrees of guilt would save us in those circumstances.
Agreed, it's hard
You're a real one, cheers 🍻
I haven't run a marathon but I've done 100 miles on a bike in 6-hour session. Does that count?
My tips:
- 1 to 1.5 liters of water per hour
- Sunscreen
- Regular breaks every 2 hours for 15 minutes
- That's it really, your everything begins to hurt at around hour 4 and 1/2
Good catch, dude!
Also having banks refuse to lend to you while having significant assets is known as having a F credit rating
Hmm, methinks this be a diversionary tactic of some kind!

Is slavery woke fellas?
As someone with 5,000 hours logged into virtual reality as of 2025, your comment leaves me a little confused. 😵💫
You mean "VR Ready" as like, a marketing terminology, right?
Because high-quality, full-body motion tracking virtual reality is available to everyone today for around $3,000-$5,000. It used to cost $140,000 in 1996.
I wait and let everyone figure out what the least broken Linux distro is.
Debian is stable. Stable is good, for an operating system; because I actually want to use my computer.
Not play with the operating system for 4-6 hours per day.
Thank you
I was just in an instance and telling everyone I was logging off because "my body is exhausted"
