Dreh die Antenne nach links, ich krieg nur rauschen hier unten.

It would be white noise, “weißes rauschen”, but nobody ever said the “white” part.

Someone else once said that they love humans, just ban all jews.

Leather is only a fetish because some people decided that it is. There is nothing inherently wrong with leather.

Ban leather fetish? You are the definition of ignorance. That is what is hurting the public image. Do you also go to a rave and tell them to dress differently? All that neon clothing is hurting your eyes? Or to any demo with people dressing as unicorns?

You underestimate the public. Who cares about leather? We care about people being ignorant dicks, about people who are obnoxious and about people who are trying to harm others. Not leather.

There is no difference between a business suit, a nipple piercing, a mini-skirt or a gag-ball. The person wearing those are what counts.

People trying to ban others, that's just sad. As long as decency laws are obeyed, who are you to judge? Fetish only exists because of ignorance. Otherwise, they would be hobbies.

I might be naive, but isn't that the point of posting them on the internet?

I quit alcohol, carbohydrates, weed, porn and tobacco two and a half years ago at age 42, a few weeks after breaking my clavicle in complicated ways, and while checking for additional damage, a fatty liver was identified.

I never picked up alcohol, weed, porn and tobacco and reintegrated sugar in reasonable amounts, like at social events.

I did it cold turkey. One day to the next. It was absolute hell for three days. I was sick, had a fever and malaria like sweats. Then it was a psychological shitshow for two weeks.

I was overweight, so I fasted completely for six days to withstand any temptations. Only had salt and water / electrolytes. After six days I had eggs and sardines for two weeks or so. Didn't poop for almost a month, even had a colonoscopy to check. Everything was fine. Just adapting.

Then I did keto for a few months, found that to be too complicated, and then went carnivore with social-event exceptions, and never looked back. Keto was fine, but being a carnivore changed everything. All my little ailments went away. Skin issues, scalp issues, rashes, moodiness, sleepiness, urges and cravings, all of it.

Lost 12 kg in those first two weeks, barely slept, but was energetic like hell, only skipped work when having the fever and sweats.

Two weeks of hell, half a year of experiments and two years of a new life. It is like being 20 years younger. I haven't been sick or ill since, either.

Good luck to you.

What do you mean, the same group of people? You take the vaccine once, usually when you are a child. So if you got it for your kid, and they decided you are an archaic, brainwashed fool and didn't get it for theirs, there you go.

In the end, how is that different from not praising all the library coders and open source parts?

Praise goes to the marketing guys. And rightly so. Without them, nobody of consequence would buy or use the code. ;)

I have never heard of alt+left, and I've been using the Internet since Mosaic was all the rage. Shame on me, it seems to be implemented in all browsers. How could I have missed it?

My biggest issue wouldn't even be the kernel level access, but the fact that the stuff is written and tested by no one in particular. The possible bugs are the issue for me.

If that thing would be bullet-proof, hackers trying for years to break it without success, yeah. Ok. I could be convinced. If it is cracked after two days already... Then nope.

I dropped driving 20 years ago. Way too expensive if you don't earn money with it in some fashion. I'm not a home-worker, but I live in a city. Having a car in a city... That just doesn't feel right. They should be used to bring stuff into a city. Cites should provide their own means of getting around. The few times when I actually needed a car, I rented one. Way cheaper than owning a car.

It's like owning a golf course to play golf once a week. Well. Something like that.

Well, it might be helpful in the current predicament. Going after the perp, without taking care of the vulnerabilities might make them take a real interest and get more data out. So make sure it's all off the grid.

Make sure it's also deleted from the Internet archive. From search engines and so on.

We got police scammed for a while because my streaming wife's contact was in some obscure 15-year-old backup of her first website on the internet archive. Before we used a service for that stuff. It had been offline for a decade already, so nobody even thought about it.
