Two short weeks in a row feels about right as far as work/life balance is concerned. Dreaming that the four day work week becomes the norm before I retire in about 20yrs
Thongs in the bidon cage, can't get more Aussie than that!
I remember getting a flat, and having no shoes. Wasn't going to walk back in cleats so decided to go barefoot. Bad blisters after less than a km. I can't imagine what walking 4kms in thongs would do. Hope they're not too bad today.
Check on your elderly neighbours too folks!
No automated self serve checkouts.
I have both, an unassisted road bike and a commuter ebike. Both are a workout and do provide good exercise.
I find I tend to ride at 80-100% on my road bike as I love its speed, but I have trouble slowing down and getting a more balanced, zone 2 workout. The ebike provides that.
Plus, they are so much fun.
Yeah, the crackdown is dumb. I wish BCC would invest a few billion to improve infrastructure ahead of the Olympics. Wishful thinking probably.
Yep. Deleted my account and all previous comment and post history. Haven't gone back.
Except voting day in Australia is on a weekend, not during the week. And there are also pre polling centres, where if you plan to be away on vacation or working on voting day, you can go along to a pre poll centre and vote weeks in advance. Australia also has mail in and even telephone voting for those unable to visit these centres.
I hate Mondays.
Have done my food shopping at the local Drake's for years. Nicer staff, no automatic checkouts, less crowds, cheaper prices.
I despise the big two. I'm always dumbfounded by how expensive Coles and Woolies are.
Love me a clapped out ex Taxi BA! Congrats :)
