2024 Tesla Model S Long Range. Love the 600km range in summer. Love the Supercharger network and how the computer in the car knows where they are and includes it in my trip planner. Superchargers themselves don't ask for payment, you just plug in and everything works. Love the power and how silent it is. Love how cheap it is to maintain and operate. I honestly don't mind the touchscreen. It's super fast (Ryzen CPU) and once you get used to it, you barely need to use it while driving. Charging at home is super easy and cheap. I only ever visit a gas station for car washes and it's a great feeling to never have to worry about fueling up.

The only downside is the up-front cost for the car and for a home charger. Yes, Elon is another downside but I've heard that Tesla is looking for a new CEO and he only owns 12% of Tesla stock so much less important than people give him credit for.

If not going with Tesla, I would have chosen a Polestar or a Rivian but I've not driven either because there are no local service centers here which affected my decision.

She's so hot.

Joe Rogan is what dumb people think what smart people sound like. He's just a moron though and offers nothing.

I really want to use Nutanix but they are the same price as VMware VCF and they don't support my existing hardware so I'd have to buy all new servers, just to pay the same price.

He probably thinks it's actually green.

I think it had more to do with Trudeau being PM for almost 10 years and people were looking for change. If he stuck around, Liberals would potentially be third place. Because the Liberals found someone much better than Trudeau, it made Pierre even less likeable and he was either unable or unwilling to be more moderate to steal votes from other parties. Even in the last week, Pierre was talking about ending 'wokeism' and removing the ban on plastic straws. Those 2 issues aren't issues more Canadians care about so why even mention it? He needed to appear more centrist which is where Carney is.

If the CPC can find a relatable leader that doesn't court the extreme-right in Canada, they have a great chance of forming government. That's a big if.

Perhaps that's a local problem as I've never had to wait more than 5m for a drive through.

Only if you really want it to be different is it different. The reality is, it's not. Words have meaning and 1/8th is not enormous. It's literally a small fraction of the total.

That's the opposite experience I've had. My Tesla has been flawless. Zero panel gaps, zero problems and it's a blast to drive while being whisper quiet and ultra-cheap to maintain and drive. The supervised Full Self Driving is nothing short of impressive as it will signal, lane change, stop, merge and yield better than 95% of drivers out there. The Tesla supercharger network is the icing on the cake. They're everywhere, they're fast and trouble-free. The only real problem with Tesla is Elon himself. He's such a fucking loser it's annoying to be tied to him but I just think of all the good Tesla engineers and employees and I just don't care who the CEO is anymore. People hate Jeff Bezos but they still use Amazon and people never liked Bill Gates or Steve Jobs but Microsoft and Apple are ultra popular. Now it seems Tesla will boot him as CEO and ideally buy him out. That would be ideal.

Nope. I don't waste my time when I know the person I'm replying to is so wrong on so many levels. It's like trying to argue with a flat earther or an anti-vaxxer. They're beyond help.

You'd rather convert vegetables into oil for diesel fuel than to eat them?

When is this province going to get real with electricity capacity? How are we suppose to use EV's and Heat Pumps when the electrical grid is so under capacity?

Anyone affected by the power outages?

Could Bitcoin Millhouse be even less likeable? Yes, the answer is yes.
