I'm trapped in a loop of playing increasingly illegal blackjack against the devil

[-] Parsani@hexbear.net 5 points 15 hours ago

Oh yeah I see that now. Hopefully it gets fixed soon . There have been issues like this in the past too

~~.is and~~ .li seem to be working fine for me

[-] Parsani@hexbear.net 1 points 16 hours ago

That does work very well, but there are other ways to win too. Manipulating your opponents deck even a little is always helpful though

It's good, there is a new public beta which fixes some issues, but waiting a bit for some official patches to come out isn't a bad idea

Yeah, it preceded balatro for its demo. I still think it's a fair comparison because it uses a card game as the framework for a game, but dndg diverts even further from blackjack than balatro does from poker.

Negative cards and cards that round up are great. You want to cycle your deck as much as possible because then you can use your like power cards more. I try to remove any standard face card and high cards asap.

You can also easily fuck with the enemy by changing their cards/deck, like using the limit break type card to double the value of something high and then locking it so they just automatically bust.

Btw There is a new public beta you can use which fixes some issues and makes the early game a bit smoother and healing more plentiful.

Anyone playing it? It's like balatro but blackjack.

At first I didn't really like it, but you can make some very broken decks and it can be very fun if a bit too unfair at times.

If you played slay the spire, you can make a claw deck in this game and it's actually more functional lmao

It's good people. The 100% linen shirts I got were a bit rough at first, but are now nice and soft. I don't typically iron, but linen wrinkles so much that I did, and damn, what a beautiful material once it's ironed.

The raw linen color is also very nice.

What are you wearing this summer?

It's already hot as fuck where I am. I never bothered with linen before, but I found some decent pants (thin linen/cotton blend from uniqulo, so we will see if they last, I have my eye on some nicer ones but they are $$$) and some linen shirts from muji. Starting to think that's the way to go to keep the sun off of me to stay cooler.

Linen, over or underrated? (marx)

If you don't know already, you can make balatro into an android or iOS app. Works flawlessly on Android.

Very surprised that the dev is going to add more content. There is already an overload of stuff.

I assume 0.1% if you even know what this game is. It's like Pokemon and diablo combined. The graphics seem rough, but eventually you get over it and it looks okay. The entire game is about making broken teams of creatures to the point you just win battles before your first turn even happens. Then you make another team because auto winning is boring. Half of my time playing has probably been theory crafting with a spreadsheet. So if your into that, this is for you.

If any of you start playing, let me know, no one I know plays this. Just beware that the writing is awful.

If I had the money I'd pay to have a hexbear creature added to the game as a joke lol
