One day at a time, brother. Good job just being you. Enjoy your day.

How may viable Democratic candidates exist that have a track record of winning Federal elections?

[–] RunningInRVA@lemmy.world 19 points 9 months ago

… or else.

Fucking dipshit. 🙄

Hilarious. I was going to give that quote but went with the menstruation one instead.

Are you, Alice, menstruating right now?

What’s that got to do with this?

Back off man! I’m a scientist!

My brother and his husband, both openly gay, stated to me just the other day that in their youth they prayed they were not gay and even shamed themselves for having homoerotic thoughts. What Pete is saying here probably reflects the way a large part of the LGBTQ+ community has felt as they came to grips with the way they feel and identify in contrast to societal expectations.

I don’t see how this somehow makes the guy a bad politician. If anything it shows he is human and normal.

Virgin Voyages, while they don’t allow kids, is similarly a complete sham about their free vs premium internet tiers. There may have well not be a free tier if you want anything even close to usable Internet.

If your friends ask what youre doing, just tell them that youre a French chef.

I have a new Miele steam oven and you can “sous vide” with it. I quote that because you surround the bag/food with steam rather than a bath of liquid water. Not sure if that matters? It seems to work ok, but twice the meat came out under what I wanted, although I’m still learning and making progress with each try.

Who else uses a steam oven and what advice can you share?

My handle gives it away, but I enjoy running. Richmond is beautiful and I have a few places to run that I really enjoy.

Top spot is the Fan. I love the architecture, friendly cars, and people watching.

James River park system is also a favorite. There’s a challenging loop around Forest Hill park that gets me going and then you can head for a quick dip in the river to cool off.

What are your top spots?

Bad news everyone! Nobody is posting and I’m not getting my daily fix of Snu Snu, Mom slaps, Leela eye rolls, and of course opportunities to bite Bender’s shiny metal ass.

Let’s go folks!
