You in your truck threatening to run them over sounds a lot like their own rhetoric.

My son is 11. We never gave him access to screens until after age 3 and we never gave him screens when we would go out, which is frequently. He’s a normal kid and he converses better than most adults. I enjoy going out with him and mostly always have.

I am concerned however because there is a whole generation of people being raised right now that have never had a meal out without a screen first being shoved in their face. I witnessed this recently at a fancy steak dinner at the Gaylord hotel with my family in Orlando. Everybody at that hotel has kids and so they are at virtually every table in the restaurant and they ALL had screens, headphones, the works. What is this generation going to be like when they are older?

It’s like people have forgotten that they themselves somehow grew up without all this crap and just completely given up on the idea that with a little effort they could actually parent their kids and raise them to be socially intelligent people. It’s like they have chosen to raise zombies instead. I just don’t get it.

Well at age 7 they would be entering first grade. The younger child is 5. It’s not good that these kids hadn’t been to any kind of school, but they were still on the young side of being required to. My take anyhow.

The “wanted” poster says that particular incident occurred on 6/19.

The article states someone slashed the pool on 6/9, while it was still being refilled from the original renovation.

They are not connected events.

You mean they are racists, too? I never saw that coming.

Why can’t he just stroke out already.

Yes but if Trump is forced to veto then Congress is left again to reconsider how badly they want this to stop. We need congress to grow a pair of balls and this is apparently how it will be done.

Yes but there won’t be any charges. This article is only saying that the state could charge him, if it decided to.

If your friends ask what youre doing, just tell them that youre a French chef.

I have a new Miele steam oven and you can “sous vide” with it. I quote that because you surround the bag/food with steam rather than a bath of liquid water. Not sure if that matters? It seems to work ok, but twice the meat came out under what I wanted, although I’m still learning and making progress with each try.

Who else uses a steam oven and what advice can you share?

My handle gives it away, but I enjoy running. Richmond is beautiful and I have a few places to run that I really enjoy.

Top spot is the Fan. I love the architecture, friendly cars, and people watching.

James River park system is also a favorite. There’s a challenging loop around Forest Hill park that gets me going and then you can head for a quick dip in the river to cool off.

What are your top spots?

Bad news everyone! Nobody is posting and I’m not getting my daily fix of Snu Snu, Mom slaps, Leela eye rolls, and of course opportunities to bite Bender’s shiny metal ass.

Let’s go folks!
