Students to the rescue. I don't know why those paper straws were so badly designed either.

Britain does rank higher than the USA (but lags Ireland and others) on this democracy ranking.

Got this earlier today so just a heads up. They use an Irish sounding name in the message but you can see that the sender isn't legitimate, it's from a wrong email domain. Also the link is not a DPD domain nor a .ie tld, but they have included those elements that might catch some out.

A nice day in Galway today, except for taking the wrong bus home afterwards!

I usually shop at ALDI when I have transport. Otherwise I order online delivery from Dunnes. I'm finding that I'm spending a fair bit more with Dunnes, but I'm also getting more delivered since I can spend a few days adding things to my basket online.

Dunnes have cheaper / own-brand alternatives that seem to compare well with ALDI (eg tins of chickpeas, chopped tomatoes). Any experiences yourselves? I'm wondering if any one place is really cheapest these days or if it's only minor differences.

It seems too simple at first but if you left school with poor Irish then I think you'll get a fair few pointers. That said, they do say on the first page that it's' not a text book and to use a dictionary / grammar support if you want more, or to find a course through Conradh na Gaeilge.

It doesn't come with audio but does have a two-page guide at the back for pronounciation. Eg: "á - like 'a' in call". There's a sequel called Irish is Fun-tastic which has a similar layout but more advanced and includes grammar, exercises etc.

They stream high-fidelity audio (256Kbps) and have no ads.
