I have an old Mac mini that I installed Ubuntu on to work as a digital frame. It works great and runs its own file server so it is easy to add pictures to.

I guess everyone needs a hobby.

Ahh yes, my favorite account on “x”. OqY4LO%&1Xv&e9YbRczM^nc3tD*f$4um3

I have read that modern servers have np. Bots you can add so you can do dungeons and stuff. I haven’t tried myself. Would love to find a guide on how to set up a Linux host.

The group, which the Southern Poverty Law Center called an “anti-government militia,” shared with News 9 that they believe weather radars control the weather.

Yes, because before Doppler Radar, there was no bad weather.

Kurt Vonnegut has entered the chat.

In the late 80’s the Simpsons ran 22 minute episodes which I think was normal. That would be 16 minutes of ads an hour.

I don’t disagree with you but most of the energy that people complain about AI using is used to train the models, not use them. Once they are trained it is fast to get what you need out of it, but making the next version takes a long time.

I would look into Tailscale based on your responses here. I don’t know what your use case is exactly but you set TS up on your server and then again on your phone/laptop and you can connect them through the vpn directly. No extra exposed ports or making a domain or whatnot.

If you want other people to access the server they will need to make a TS account and you can authorize them.

I did this with all the stupid moth memes. I want to see less of this so I downvoted them all. (Along with blocking a few communities)

And this is why you need a 3-2-1 backup strategy.

EFCore has landed in unstable, and this will have consequences.

There has been several conservative memes about golf courses going away or liberals taking them away. Did I miss some news about that?

I have a DS920+ which I haven't upgraded the ram for, so it still has the default 4GB on it. Reading around, it sounds like Synology only supports adding an additional 4GB for it, but some other sites mention putting an additional 8 or 16 into it.

Has anyone upgraded theirs with more ram? What have you added and what were your experiences?
