As it is known, lemmy has many instances. There are similar communities in different instances. Is it possible to gather and display similar communities around a single title? For example, if there are 3 different technology communities, if you press and hold a community name in the subscriptions section on the left, the selection buttons are active. then if we choose more than one community. And if we click on merge the selected communities. Next, let's name this group. The 3 different technology communities on the left will no longer appear. The group name we typed will appear. When you press and hold the group name, the options to distribute the group and edit the group will appear. When you click on the group, 3 community content will start to appear on the main page.

I'm note a programmer. I Don't Understand Codes. How do I Know If An Open Source Application is not Stealing My Data Or Passwords? Google play store is scanning apps. It says it blocks spyware. Unfortunately, we know that it was not very successful. So, can we trust open source software? Can't someone integrate their own virus just because the code is open?

They are making a profit in the existing system. But they are ruining the business by acting on the urge to make more Profit.

If a community has grown a lot, unfortunately it takes up all the posts on the homepage. If I were a developer, I would sort by weighted success. For example, if the "x" community has 1000 subscribers and the post gets 100 likes, it has ten percent success. If the other 'y' community has 100 people and gets 11 likes, it has 11 percent success. This overrides the post in community x because the post in community y is more successful. This is the logic of 'weighted success'. With this logic, a better ranking formula can be created.

I wouldn't advise you to get depressed with this superpower. 🙂

In the end, they could be executed. It won't be easy.

A setting can be added that turns off replies (subcomment) to comments made on posts. Also, a section can be added that shows the number of sub-comments and opens sub-comments.

Also, the 'upvote' of comments could be more regular if they were left aligned. See the screenshot below.

I have used Sycn for Reddit for a very long time. It was the most used app on my phone. I'm at lemmy now. I have contacted many app developers. I told them about the shortcomings of their applications. Now, Summit has become my main application with the arrival of the Hide read feature and other deficiencies eliminated by close communication with the developer. I check every day to see if there is a new update maybe 4-5 times. For me, every update is a different excitement. There are still shortcomings, but I know that developer communication is strong and capable. Deficiencies will decrease every day and become perfect. Thank you Summit 🎊

If I want an article to be read by others, I give an upvote. I'll downvote if I don't want it. It has nothing to do with my side of the idea or the event. For example, a rape news was shared. My upvoting does not mean that I support the incident, it just means that it will come to the fore so others can see it.

I think that karma is an obstacle to free thought. People prefer to remain silent instead of expressing their opposing opinions while declaring ideas that are more in line with the prevailing opinion of the community than their own in order to gain karma.

He takes Erdogan as an example. We have seen in Turkey that this method has reduced the number of protests. This behavior makes it habit . It leads to a shift to an authoritarian rule. The consequences may be more severe than the protests in the long run. You need to think a lot.
