better than natural born citizens that dick ride a government
it would be truly epic if i could sleep through the night without being awoken by my chronic pain
It's crazy dude. I've been thinking about this a lot and I just can't find justification for it. I kind of understand where the Hexbear people are coming from sometimes but then they'll have insane takes like this. They always claim to be pro minority anti government whatever but how can you justify mass murder and rape of civilians? I understand the history between Palestine and Israel and I acknowledge Israel's government has committed dozens of atrocities but there's such a massive difference between a corrupt government/military and the people living under it. People cite the festival's proximity to an internment camp like the people attending the festival even necessarily knew about it, or as if they were at all responsible for choosing the location.
Even the first comment in the screenshot is trying to minimize it by just calling it a "shooting" when there's purportedly videos of Hamas kidnapping and raping people. It just seems so arbitrary which side they're in favor of, and once they've decided they blatantly ignore any actions of extremists and brush it off as "they had it coming" for things a government has been doing long since before they were even born.
I guess it's easier to cheer such an atrocity when you're separated by an ocean and don't even see them as people, just some kind of villainous people who all hate Palestine. I'm sure the tankies would change their tune really quick if a group from Palestine, Russia, or China rolled up in their neighborhood to commit atrocities in the name of war and reparations.
Then they have the audacity to look at a similar situation via Ukraine/Russia and somehow always come to the conclusion that Ukraine are the baddies even though they've been having their land stolen for years and Russia quite literally attacked them first. The parallels between Russia/Ukraine and Palestine/Israel are so similar that it's mindboggling the tankies support one and not the other.
I genuinely wish I could understand where they're coming from but their discussions are always filled with so much hate and attempted humor that they just end up parroting their little memes and quips when talking about actual wars and genocide.
memes are basically anything spread around. doesn't need to be a joke or even funny really.
Exit the Gungeon is basically a different genre using the same IP.
u missed the joke
Feels like you need that much experience for any tech job. How I'd love a nice WFH position.
It's not sympathy. It's pointing out their own internalized self hatred as an explanation beyond them being some mustache twirling villain. It's more pathetic imo for a homophobic politician to struggle with their sexuality vs learned values so hard that instead of coming to the conclusion that gay = ok they try to exterminate gays instead.
If they were just awful people for no reason other than religion that's just straight brain rot but if you are literally part of the group you're trying to extinguish I feel like that has to be the most embarrassing thing for that individual. Like just get therapy at that point.
I'd be surprised if anybody arguing in good faith would genuinely believe the above criticism is somehow a jab at gay people as a whole when it's very obvious it's just about the homophobe in general. The moral here is you can be gay and still want to stomp the rights of others in your same situation. I know friends whose black/immigrant parents voted for Trump. There's psychos everywhere my guy.
considering it's something the vast majority of people have strong reactions for it's kind of to be expected. for most people it's as basic as craving food. even if it wasn't in marketing it'd still be everywhere in art (songs, movies, etc)
If people can't decide on a single community for these things then it's gonna happen no matter what.
tiktok automatically puts watermarks when people download their content lol. to make sure the user is credited
