What it becomes when it congeals

[–] Tangentism@lemmy.ml 0 points 3 weeks ago

You take yourself far too seriously. It's really embarrassing to see

[–] Tangentism@lemmy.ml 1 points 3 weeks ago (2 children)

Are you really that fucking obtuse?

[–] Tangentism@lemmy.ml 2 points 3 weeks ago

I find with no lube, one invariably results in the other

How are MLs any different?

Anyone can, and does, call themselves an ML and out of the myriad I've seen online there's but a handful who have not only read theory but actually understand it, instead of regurgitating empty quotes and/or engaging in purity politics.

All of the comments on that article are the usual pearl clutching drivel from pseudo MLs, bleating that 'anarchists' (collectively because anarchists are renowned for all thinking & behaving the same all the time!) are "rejoicing an imperialist power being instrumental in bringing down another oppressive govt" all based from a tweet from anonymous account that probably looked at another anonymous twitter account with an Ⓐ in it's profile, while they were all "you need to vote blue to keep the orange man out" and do fuck all for establishing a vanguard movement in their own countries, or even are involved in any kind of mutual aid programs at the very least.

Those people are so unserious that it's becoming harder by the day to distinguish them from the maga cultists

That's only 2 characters and wouldn't even get past the password policy set by my office security team

he seemed quite fair and principled.

Scratch a bit beneath the surface though....

He was sacked from govt for tax fiddling

He is a bit murky in his dealings

He likes being heavy handed towards critics [The Time article but behind a paywall so link is archive.is]

Ive not even touched on his time on govt and some of the decisions he was involved in or things he said

Did you have much respect for him to start with? As far as politicians go, hes a right shithead

Make it compulsory for EVERY driver annually and enforce it through insurance companies levying an additional tax on a policy for failure to supply an eye test certificate when renewing.

There have been various incidents where drivers with defective eye sight who were well under 70. The death of Eilidh Cairns being a prominent one where the police failed to do anything about the driver after he killed her on her bike and he later killed a 98 year old holocaust survivor while she was on a zebra crossing

Just found & joined Lemmy and so want to add to it by starting a community on a favourite (time & money consuming!) hobby: modular synthesis.

This is my current system although I'm currently building a Befaco Hexmix, Robaux LL8 and a Sonic Potions Penrose quantizer.

I have a new case arriving next month that's portable so once we can go outside and congregate again, I'm going to look at playing some shows (if I actually have any music and haven't just disappeared down a noise rabbit hole!)

2 years on and the system looks like this:

Another case by Case From Lake and plenty of modules that I managed to acquire through luck such as the ACL Sinfonion for £750!

I'll have to go through my ModularGrid page to update my racks there and post them
