What is the context?

[–] TheChemist@hexbear.net 10 points 6 months ago

That is pretty much exactly it. You get used to it. More specifically, you get resigned about no healthcare, insurance and healthcare that can wipe out savings, being among the most overworked people in the world.... Eventually you are forced to psychologically adapt by forcing yourself to become more or less emotionally callus to it, in order to survive with your faculties mostly intact.

Are there at least websites that help say, someone who hasn't taken public transportation how to navigate it?

Sounds like they weren't humbled by things like high rent, an oversaturation of college degrees becoming decreasingly useful, no healthcare. There is very little to look forward to these days if you aren't wealthy.

Huh. Guess I am more of a reader or thinker here, than a talker.

Then why don't I feel very welcomed? Then again, there is no place where I feel accepted.

Well, I usually don't have anything that sounds insightful in my own head.

Do you mean the mods at neurodiverse? I have thought of asking for a step by step guide for say, making a mega thread or a guide for how to find movie nights. I am so scared of trying things, that I don't try if I don't know what to do, without a guide.

The only games I play are the Fallout and Bioshock Series, I read Fairytales and books about Accounting, and I mostly watch random movies on Tubi.

How do I find those items?
