You don’t even need to be a citizen or PR, you just need to have “a Canadian presence”, which can be as simple as owning a trademark registered in Canada
Thanks! I haven’t taken the ferry from Nanaimo in a long time, how does that compare to the regular crossing? I suppose it has the added advantage of ending in downtown Vancouver and not at horseshoe bay
Is there any indication of how fast these are?
Even if that were the case and the Cayuga is a flying legal-aid clinic it doesn’t make much sense to put the lawyer in charge. You’d have a regular command officer trained to fly spaceships running the ship, and Batel would be like the chief counsel or whatever aboard. But they also did it weird with Crusher too when they made her the captain of a hospital ship. Again, you’d have a ship-captain-type-person flying the thing, and a doctor in charge of the doctoring
Everyone knows that ship captains are the best lawyers. That’s why starfleet keeps using them as attorneys in all their trials
It’s not like base ten is some magic thing that’s better in all aspects. I’ll admit that imperial is inconsistent sure, but a dozenal system makes sense when you need to divide things a lot. One foot being twelve inches means you can half, quarter, third, or sixth it without dealing with fractions
Similarly, “presently” originally meant “soon”, but now people use it to mean “at this time”. Like “I will be leaving presently” could mean two different things depending on who’s saying it
This article is nearly a year old, about a movie that came out last year…?
Not just the hotel, but enough to bribe two separate border officers to let them cross the border the day after a terrorist attack
So an hour and 20 minutes saved each way for about twice the price. I could see it being valuable for many people
