That's actually a good point. Nothing I've read seems to suggest this is getting rid of texture artists, but it could be a problem in the future. They claim it only alter lighting and materials, so for the moment I'll take their word for it, but it does make you wonder just how much generative AI is involved.

I naturally assume there's a distinct lack of humanity and a willingness to act like a psychopath with them.

If it was generating completely new images, I would agree. Worst I can do is criticize the things that are wrong with the filter.
