When I see old photos of her natural, unedited face, I have such a hard time matching it with what she currently looks like. It honestly makes my brain hurt.

Hmmmm....it seems you are remembering things the way you wanted them to be and not actually how they were. We actually had a rule against calling Sarah a pervert/child predator and the mods stuck by it. I removed posts like that all the time. We did NOT post images of her children. They were always covered up/edited out. It was like that from the beginning. We even changed the rules saying that posting anything about her kids was off limits. We also added a rule banning comments/posts about mental health/armchair diagnosis. The rules for this community were actually pulled directly from the Reddit sub.
The video where someone had their kid film her at a distance was removed. If you don't believe me I can send you a screen shot of the conversation the mods had about how it was inappropriate to do that.
The sub changed a lot over the 1.5 years it was active and we were always trying to make it better. As a mod from that sub, I refuse to be dragged.
I honestly feel it’s just a matter of time for them too 🙄
The name of the site was NOT the reason the sub was moved here. I took the time to look into what forum would be most similar to Reddit, and Lemmy came very highly recommended. Also - this is a Canadian-run site, which I felt was appropriate considering TBP is Canadian. And since our country seems to turn a blind eye to her antics, I thought this would be a good way to get more eyes on what she is doing.
That being said, I will remove the irony comment from my post. Also, if the consensus around here is that this site was chosen with malicious intent, I will happily delete the community. However, I will leave it up to someone else to find an alternative and moderate it. I didn't HAVE to set this all up, but I took the time to do it because I feel what we are doing here is important and hate that we were censored yet again, only now on Reddit. Being a mod is not easy and if someone feels better suited, be my guest.

There should be a little button that say ‘sidebar’. The rules are in the community description. I know this is a bit of a learning curve when we are all used to Reddit.
This was the most recommended alternative to Reddit. It’s kind of like old school Reddit.

I hadn’t either. I pretty much googled ‘best Reddit alternative’ and here we are! ;)
We are starting a private page back up, but wanted a backup in case it gets removed (which I hear is highly likely).
I see the fake freckles are back. 🙄
