This has been their MO for years. A good documentary called "Jesus Camp" was made in like 04. It was about a children's religious summer camp. It ended with a bunch of children praying to a literal life sized cardboard cut out of W Bush. Those kids are like 30 now and likely have their own kids. They're just so fucking weird.

He can for J6 and the documents case. But not for this or the Georgia case.

Man, I remember a video I saw like 7 years ago. Two black college students were reading the riot act to a white kid for having dreadlocks. Like, I get it, but pick your battles. That is not your enemy. The left needs to recognize when they're overreacting because it just gives the right ammo for their nonsense gun. Because the voters the dems are losing, who barely pay attention, will have stronger reactions to trash like this than they have to nuanced defenses of bidens record in the post pandemic economy.

Insider trading is actually legal for congress though. You're point is valid for systemic issues but this specific one boils down to the individuals involved. There is no precedent for this, no one can really say the judge did anything improper. It would likely be a boon for the governor in a blue state and who knows the DA ambitions.

I'm mostly making counterpoints than a prediction though. I still don't think anything major will happen.

It's a half baked idea of mine. I'm not actually in favor of a third party presidental candidate. Just Bernie starting one as a power play. Forcing the Democrats to embrace class based economic messaging and ideology as the cornerstone of the party. Bernie is 83, it's best for him to leverage his celebrity and cross over appeal to influence change and elevate the profiles of the next generation of like minded candidates.

The third party would be an, ideally, toothless way to enable that change by endorsing a candidate in the dem primary. And have a long, public and transparent process for that endorsement.

This is so true and I'm saying this a white guy who has only felt the economic impact of their failures. I was a radical leftist when I was 15, now I'm 40. The only thing democrats have ever offered is damage control, they can't blame the voters for being apathetic.

Ugh, it's bad. Mitch McConnells life work is about to be fulfilled. Courts are stuffed with gop goons to create a legit legal precedent for unitary executive theory. It's bad. I'm mostly worried about deportation and family separation. I think he's going to consider that a big thank you to the loyalty of his base. The cruelty is the point for a lot of those people. I'm worried that these policies will lead to race riots by Hispanics, especially if they fuck with DACA.

At this point I'd be in favor of him just starting a podcast and enjoying retirement. The left has to go around the DNC to effectively deliver their message, it's foolish to think otherwise.

They can control the narratives. Democrats haven't done enough to break the "both sides are the same" narrative, this is a 32 year problem. It breeds apathy and apathy helps autocrats.

As an American, I'm sorry. Fuck. I feel like one if those "NoT aLl MeN" people.

You're kind of missing the point. You're correct on principle but the issue is how to actually regulate it and create laws around it. Im totally in favor of media campaigns with that point, it is a north star. Thats what they actually do in California. Still, someone can be .02 BAC and be be fine to drive. I'm sure there's some alcoholics that can be over .08 and pass a coordination test, due to their tolerance. The .08 is the law for a good reason though.

The only way to do that for thc would be a blood test, to the best of my knowledge. I don't think that's practical. The answer is definitely NOT police discretion though.

Missing little nugget on this. His current wife, ex mistress, was a producer in his show. Copy/pasted from Wikipedia: "Noelle filed for divorce in 2018 after Watters admitted to an affair with a producer on his show, Emma DiGiovine. Watters claimed to have begun dating DiGiovine by letting the air out of her vehicle's tires so she would ask him for a ride."

Funking all caps CREEP.
