I don't know about this one, but we had a group of these around here a couple of years back. They largely flew under the radar until their leader one day decided enough was enough, marched to the nearest military based and asked to see the commander. She then handed him a list of people to arrest including the president, every member of the government and a couple of other high profile people. In comparison that the screenshot seems fairly tame, so I'll believe it.
I like how he went to a poker night and figured out he's good at blackjack. Sounds like his friends wanted to gift him some money even though the idiot couldn't even figure out what game they are playing.
Mandating trusted CAs opens the door to fucking with the communication in progress. Ie undermining TLS whose job it is to protect that communication. Spinning this as an attack on the companies making the browser is a bit too creative for me. That's like saying wiretaps are an attack on the telco, not the phone calls being listened in on.
