My conspiracy theory is that when a species suppresses all apex predators, outmanoeuvres most lethal diseases, and suppresses wars and famine, the species automatically start changing and self-destruction code is triggered.

That code triggers extinction-class events like nuclear war, anti-vaccine movements to bring back disease, and anti-intellectualism that results in rollbacks to climate change suppression and reduces long-term survival. Which leads to mass die-offs, bringing the population back under control.

Honestly, it sounded silly at first, but it seems to be the only thing that makes logical sense when a fucking moron is demanding rollbacks to measles vaccines, HIV prevention, and cuts to the government agencies that control nukes and other exotic weaponry. While other countries start idiotic wars over literally nothing, throwing their economies away.

....Thank fucking God we destroyed our biological weapons program decades ago.

Just an hour away from Gloucester though, and the sleepy residents of Hereford are buying the biggest dildos in the country.

Hell yeah, Hereford, hehe.

What the fuck? People kill their adult child for having sex?

Honestly, it's been a really good trend with ebikes. Some ebikes brands have been including brake lights that light up when you slow or stop, and it makes it much safer, since you can tell when someone ahead of you is slowing down. Front brake lights for cars and bikes would also make sense, especially at signalized intersections and four ways.

I hope they become a thing.

Yeah, fingers crossed he comes back. Even just a check in message would be appreciated.

Happy pride, especially those who are quietly exploring. I know exactly how you feel, as that was me once!

AJ is a government mouthpiece for Qatar, they probably are pumping their numbers with bots. I peg them in the same category as RT and FN, which are also mouthpieces for their respective nations.

Aww, sorry to see that. I know you love your bike, I've seen a few posts on it :(

Other ships in the John Lewis class include the Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Sojourner Truth, John Lewis and Thurgood Marshall, among others.

Sojourner Truth is also just an objectively good ship name, as both a name of a good historic figure, and the literal definition of a sojourner seeking truth.

It would also be a fantastic name for a scientific space vessel. Seeking truth through exploration.

Yep, higher prices on a variety of things. Check receipts and invoices.

Looks intriguing!

Sometimes I get sick of brambles on the local bike lane I use a ton, and take a pair of battery electric trimmers to cut back grasses and brambles that grow over the lanes. But I'm curious if cities have actual programs with access to better tools. Working on bike lanes is super satisfying, but I'd love to do it with a group.

Having conquered its home market, the Japanese toilet-maker Toto is selling more bidets in the United States. Toto’s president says not even tariffs will halt its advance.

A clean ass is inevitable :3

How did they do? Do they need root tabs? Are they fine without ever touching saltwater? Any bright light requirements?

A lot of stuff on commercial television came from PBS.

The first financial news show came from PBS. Cooking was really Julia Child. Even reality shows, believe it or not, came from PBS, with “American Family” in the early ’70s.

Part of what PBS does should be seen as an incubator for new stuff and new ideas.

They are a relatively rare size. I've had good experiences with the CST Adventures, but I'm looking for other good brands/tires too.
