The story was so absolutely absurd in the first few hours. It lost me when they introduced Die Hard Man and a few other plot elements. There's no way I could have ever finished it, and I love the convoluted mess of Metal Gear lore.

Glazed by the first sentence, my bad. It wasn't in the title. If you're going to be a dick get it right at least.
Get it in before tariffs start to really kick in. I just did it, I'm pretty sure in 6 months it's going to be so much more expensive.

I felt like they portrayed the terror of the Gundam so well in the series, showing us a side we haven't really had a chance to see before. They nailed that so well IMO, TOHO really put their magic into it and it shows.
You are 100% right. I've even said before on here that a GOOD Godzilla movie lives and dies by the human plot. I'm not saying the story doesn't matter, but in the grand scheme of things if the plot is lacking, the monster/mech scenes are really what matters here. Good writing and plots only elevate it that much more.
But.... the physical copy of CP2077 on launch for PC was just a box with some merch telling us to go download it from GOG.
What better way to show your game isn't mired in controversy by disabling likes and comments on your showcase video. This isn't going to end well, but I hope I'm wrong.

We're all just here for the mechs anyway. It's the same thing as a Godzilla flick (barring -1 and Shin). We're not here for the plot - just show us the giant monsters fighting, and we're happy.
Story is alright. Human renderings are kinda jank. Worth the watch imo.

Update: She had a bad reaction to the booster and got all the meds she needed today and is already on the mend. Thanks for all the well wishes, I'll post more of her here soon.
Brought her to the vet on Friday, and I think she picked something up from there, and we got her booster shots that day just to avoid just this scenario. Anxiety isn't allowing me to relax until we get her feeling OK, but I have an appointment set for tomorrow, so here's hoping. So yea, send her all the well wishes please if ya don't mind.

This kit for being HG is pretty awesome. Bandai has really stepped up their game with this line, the kit has a pesduo-skeleton more like what you would see in a MG but not completely similar. The poseability and range of motion with the joints are also awesome.
The amount of seamline removal for this kit is very minimal as most of the panels for the armor are designed to kind of piece in for the look. But man... the masking tape involved for this kit is going to be crazy. Tons of small details that need attention. I'll be sure to post updates for this kit as I work on it, and others that I do soon. I also stream on Twitch when I build, if you're interested in watching the process feel free to ask for my handle.
What I find about this series most interesting is that I (a zaku enjoyer) really like the new gundam design over the new zaku design and have found that people that usually like gundams over zakus like the Zaku design better.
