Hey just came across this and I hope you’re doing alright today. Losing a pet is never easy. It’s easy to second-guess yourself after the fact but there’s no way you could’ve known what was happening. What you saw was pretty standard “my dog got into something they probably shouldn’t have“ territory and any vet worth their salt would’ve probably told you “just wait to bring them in tomorrow unless you see lots of blood.”

I saw someone get dog piled on the other day for saying it was misogynist to call someone a pussy then when I tried to show support I got shit on too. That was unfortunate and an unusually high level showing of right wing folks on a thread.

There’s a legitimate discussion to be had about whether not he should be doing that, but to compare it to a multinational corporation profiting off of clothes depicting his work without his permission is pretty disingenuous.

This is not me saying people should go shoplift nor is it me saying that Banksy isn’t a whiner.

I think it’s pretty unfair to put all of the blame on everyone who uses a chromium browser, considering that most people with a computer have no idea what the hell you are talking about.

Google Chrome is the single most popular web browser. Everyone’s work uses it, everyone’s school uses it, why would they possibly question it? And then they discover a new browser someone recommended - why would they look into “chromium” and what it all means? It’s just not reasonable to expect of nearly the entire population at this stage.

Take your anger out on the company and educate people. This is a problem of education, not selfishness (on the part of the user).

I think people who are pro-piracy tend to be a little dogmatic in the wrong direction, refusing to exercise their imagination or contemplate situations where people can be legitimately hurt financially or otherwise by their actions. However, most of the arguments are pretty sound, and I can’t imagine working that hard making new accounts just to argue in favor of movie/record studios that have exploited artists for as long as they have existed.

It’s always baffling to me how easily the republicans can do bad things and then just say “the Democrats did it.” I’m always reminded of when Mitch McConnell filibustered his own bill because the Democrats got behind it.

Remember the tax cuts passed under Trump? Businesses got it forever. Guess whose tax cuts are about to expire, and guess who is going to get blamed for “raising taxes“ afterwards?
