After seeing that my wireless speeds were much faster than the speeds I was getting over Ethernet, I decided to invest in some new cables. I didn't know it before, but I saw while I was changing them out that my current cables were Cat 5e. While putting my network together, I had just been grabbing whatever cables I could find in my scrap drawers. Now I have Cat 8 cables and my speeds jumped from 7MB/s to an average of over 40MB/s. It's a much bigger improvement than I expected, especially for such a small investment.

I think a better question is, for those who have shitty parents, should it be a school's responsibility to fill in the gap, or should there be other social programs made available so that there isn't an undue burden placed on teachers and school administrators?

It doesn't even suck that bad. Last time I had to unlock mine, I saw that the previous unlocking had been two years earlier. Each time I have to do it, I set an end date and it automatically relocks. Whole process takes maybe 10 minutes for the big 3 credit bureaus.

There are still laws against sodomy in many states. Those laws are backwards and antiquated, but they are still laws. I would expect every DA in the country to throw out a sodomy case involving two or more consenting adults not only because it's a stupid law but because spending tax-payer money on such a case does nothing to protect the public good.
