But if murder is bad, why are they so in favor of murdering women who will die in childbirth? U.S. citizens, no less?

Doesn't exist on any version of Windows that isn't Home, either, and on that you can set your home connection as metered and it simply won't download updates automatically anymore.

To be blunt, none of the issues in the meme are really issues at all for the average person, while something like Linux constantly having issues just playing games despite Proton actually will be.

Yes, and it's still irrelevant to this community despite that fact.

Frankly, I don't see a point to even touching Bluesky. Threads has at least promised federation, Bluesky is just Jack Dorsey looking at Mastodon and going "yeah I want that but incompatible with everything else."

No.

I don't fundamentally believe people should be forced into supporting their dead-end relatives just because they happen to be related. I have one, but I also have my own life and I personally can barely afford my own problems.

Raising the Bar (out of print for several years now so I recommend just finding yourself a .pdf) is a book about the development of Half-Life 2 and bits of Half-Life as well. Geoff Keighley has also written a few "The Final Hours" books about the development of Portal 2, Titanfall, and Half-Life: Alyx, though I think all are digital-only.

I'd play the demo and read the Steam reviews and decide that for yourself. Personally, I'd probably pass on the game no matter the price, but we're all different.
