I got an Ooni Karu 16 pizza oven. Tried it out and absolutely love it.

Is there any way to salvage a coriander plant when it does this, or am I best to mulch it and start from scratch?

My parsley is looking like it is about to do the same thing. Is there any way to prevent it and help it continue producing?

It's a free trial; you haven't paid for any period of time.

I have "Apple One", and under the "Cancel All Services" button, it says if I cancel now, they will remain active until the end of the current subscription period.

"Cancel Free Trial" - I'm sure they would happily refund $0.

They're bringing Apple's password manager to 3rd party apps โ€“ i.e., Chrome โ€“ in the new macOS version.

Basic bagels (cook.bmck.au)

This is the recipe for my basic bagels. I'll mix and knead the dough at breakfast and bake them fresh for lunch.

Absolutely. Each server can be entirely standalone, you can just disable federation.

I'd like a garden that's useful for cooking - herbs, basic veg/tomatoes. But I don't really know where to start.

I had a small patch of herbs, but it was overrun by weeds. I'd like to start this spring with a fresh raised garden bed in my (small) front garden. It receives a decent amount of sun.

Are there any good resources out there for establishing a garden like this in Melbourne? Google obviously is fairly northern-hemisphere oriented, so seasons/availability don't really align.

Things I'm curious about are โ€“

  • what to plant
  • when to plant
  • when to harvest
  • how to harvest
  • how to deal with pests
  • how to deal with weeds
  • seeds vs. seedlings
  • how often to water
  • how much to water
  • to feed or not to feed

I have iCloud+ on a family plan. Gives me Apple TV, Music, Fitness and 2TB of storage. I use it to back up all my photos (with a process to back them up to my local NAS as well as additional cloud storage - AWS Glacier)

I'm on a Mac all day and have an iPhone and iPad, so it works for me.

Some alternatives might be cheaper, but the integrations are too good to pass up.

Tailscale "just works". Since I've set it up I've never really thought about using anything else. Adding new devices is seamless.

I use Cloudflare as my ingress point. They have a lot of features to provide security against a wide variety of attacks.
