Man I thought the well was so dang creepy when I originally played it.

Overall, I really enjoyed this series and the final episode felt like a satisfying wrap up. I was happy to see be girls teaming up in the end rather than needlessly fighting each other.

::: spoiler I personally liked the twist about Lalah creating the new universes in order to save Char and her being the one pulling strings with Machu all along. :::

Now I’ll agree with the chorus of people saying the series needed more time and the main characters felt under cooked. I wish we could have spent more time getting to know them and feeling more weight to the actions.

Nevertheless I’m reasonably happy with what we got in the end.

I played so much SoT back around 2019/2020! Was such a blast just hanging out on the seas.

I agree with your comment about the water, it really is beautiful.

I know folks have mentioned disliking the pvp aspect and believe me I get it - I was never particularly good at it especially in close encounters. But I will say some of the most genuinely exciting memories I have are of those times when we had a boatload of loot with some pirates hot on our tail and managed to get away with it.

The crew I played with eventually moved on to other things but I still miss it now and then.

Yes! They really under utilized free roam, especially when you look at how big a deal they made out of it in the reveal trailer.

Agreed. I’m pretty much completely over World at this point and only play if my kid asks me to. I think it’s technically impressive and gorgeous to look at, but the tracks are so utterly boring I have little motivation to fire it up.

I’m still salty about the lack of local multiplayer free roam too, but that’s another issue entirely.

I have this kit on my list of potential builds. Glad to see you liked it! Always loved the look of this one and I’m a sucker for a heat rod.

Definitely looks interesting. I probably won’t buy it on day one, but it’s a strong chance I’ll get around to playing it eventually.

I don’t think I’ve actually played a mainline DK game since the SNES days, now that I think about it.

I’ve been using Tecsee Coral switches for about 3 years now. Tactile, 55g actuation and 65g bottom out force. I like them a lot.

My only complaint with them is they do have a tiny bit of wobble. I wish they felt more solid in that regard.

I’m also starting to feel like it’d be fun to play around in slightly higher spring forces.

Guess that’s me too. I loved Fallout 3 and wasn’t really aware of a lot of hate for it.

The original Portal game does a good job of this. The first several puzzles are essentially tutorials that still manage to feel fun and interesting.
