Finished Owlboy.

It was a fun game, but there were some parts I didn't like much. There are some sections where you have to navigate through darkness, and there are spikes on the walls, didn't like that. There were also some areas which were time based, don't like those either. Doesn't make it a bad game though, there are many good parts, but it's not perfect. Personally, I will rate it as a good but not a great game. If you like 2D platformers, it's worth a try.

Started Star Fox. I have only played the tutorial though, haven't even started the campaign, but that is going to be the primary game for the weekend.

This is also the first time I properly tried the mouse mode of Switch 2, and I am really impressed. It works really well, had to spend some time thinking if I should play the game in mouse mode or normal control. You can change the controls on runtime though, so it's not a big decision.

Reached the second area Monster Hunter Stories. The game seems to be opening up, fast travel is also unlocked, and I have finally more than 5 monsties. 5 is the limit of what we can have active party at a time. Going to put it on a back burner for a bit and focus on Star Fox.

Played Fallout 4, completed some quest lines, and took care of some bigger quests. Also played some Earth Defense Force 5. Nothing worth mentioning there though.

What about all of you? What have you been playing and/or plan to play?

Started Monster Hunter Stories. Have been itching to play a JRPG, and got this. I have played a few hours, and have 2 "monsties" now, but it still seems like a prologue. Unlike other Monster Hunter games, we are not hunters, but riders. People who forge bond with monsters instead of fighting them (but then use their bonded monsties to kill other monsters). The village though small is exactly like other Monster Hunter games, and they also give us in-game reason why riders are not mentioned in other games.

Enjoying it, but too early to say much about it. Playing this as my primary game on Switch 2.

Played some more Owlboy. Unless there is some story twist, I should be more than halfway through. It's a fun platformer. If you can fly, it feels like there wouldn't be much difficulty left in platforming, but the game is well designed for that.

Spent a good amount of time playing Fallout 4. I have explored most of the area north of Diamond City now, except for some area in the middle and extreme right. Came face to face with another Legendary Deathclaw, tried to kill it but it threw me in the sky. That was a fun scene, my character flying in the air.

Started Earth Defense Force 5!

I loved EDF, it's sometimes fun killing tons of bugs and aliens without worrying about anything else.

I generally play with Wing Driver class, it's the most fun class IMO. One issue I have with this time is the weapons. For most of them you hold the attack button to charge, and then release to attack. Once you release the button, you can't stop firing, it will release the whole charge. This is very in-efficient, and I can't get my mind around it, specially cause Wing Driver's have limited amount of energy that they also need for flying, and unfortunately that's how most (though fortunately not all) of the weapons for Wing Driver class work. Thankfully there are enough other weapons that it isn't a big issue yet, but if all high class weapons are like that, I'll probably have to switch to another class.

Also played some Yoshi and the Mysterious Book. Went back to starting levels to 100% them instead of playing the post game, but hardly played an hour or so. I probably won't mention this again unless I play it for significant amount of time, or reach some interesting milestone.

Finished Yoshi and the Mysterious Book!

Well, at least the credits rolled, there is post game content but the little bit of what I have played, requires much more skill. I still have all the stuff I left in the previous levels though, have to go back and complete that at least.

Going to keep playing and try to complete the encyclopedia as much as I can, not sure I'll be to get everything, specially the post-game ones. Will probably put it aside as primary game and just play it here and there for completion. Have been itching for a JRPG so will probably start one now.

Finished Onimusha: Warlords!

It wasn't a long game, maybe 5-6 hours total, and if remove all the unskippable scenes that I had to see multiple times cause I died on the boss, it would've ended even sooner.

The game has many similarities with the early Resident Evil games so looked up the details and apparently the original idea of the game was "Ninja Resident Evil". Though, fortunately the puzzles in this game aren't as convoluted, and there are very few of those around.

Loved the game, even with the dated elements, the game is fun to play. I'll recommend it to action game fans, if they have some patient for older elements like fixed camera, saving at fixed places, and unskippable scenes.

Started Owlboy on Switch. It has been on my wishlist for a long time, so decided to get it on latest sale. I'll mainly be focusing on Switch 2 games for next few months (Yoshi, Star Fox, Splatoon Raiders), but when kids are hogging that, need something on Switch to play too.

I have just started it and played less than an hour, so can't really say much about it, but the graphics and gameplay looks interesting.

Played more of Fallout 4.

After reaching the Diamond City the game seems to have slowed down. Since it's the biggest city around, there's a lots to do here and the surrounding, but this means the "exploring the wilderness" feel has dimmed down a bit.

Also played some Sackboy: A Big Adventure and Arc Raiders, not much to mention here.
