You can’t really go wrong imo. There’s one of him w Coltrane recorded (I think) after Miles fired Coltrane for being unreliable but before Miles rehired him and made Kind of Blue. Monk and Coltrane became good friends in this period, Monk had something like a 6 month run at this club in NY with Coltrane in the group and that’s about when Coltrane really started stretching out into outer space.

Thelonius Himself was also during this period, solo piano except for the last number with Coltrane.

Monk plays Duke Ellington is good. Whichever one you see in the shop, just get that one.

I actually think it began in earnest the day those towers were hit. The response signaled the beginning of Americas decline, and the beginning of the long term plutocrat plan to loot the remains.
