It sounds like the missile struck the courtyard, and there were no fatalities. Either a very precise symbolic strike, or a lucky miss.
Don't forget that there are some Israelis who are native to the region, and some who refuse to serve in the IDF.
But, per Israel's own logic that they apply to Palestinians, former soldiers are considered valid military targets for life. And that's most(?) Israelis, due to conscription.
Israel already bombed an Iranian hospital a couple days ago. I don't support targeting civilians, but that's tit-for-tat.
Realistically it's Israel's fault for breaking the seal on such war crimes.
What does the fatwa actually mean, though? Can their scientists theorize about how nuclear bombs would work? At what point does it become weaponization?
Is it possible that they already have tentative designs, and "all" they have left to do is build and test them?
What is stopping Israel from just going ahead and doing it? They could simply lie and say they used some secret non-nuclear capability. The explosion would be contained underground, and the contamination would be mixed with the destroyed nuclear fuel. Plausible deniability, and I seriously doubt anyone would question it.
That's General Alaudinov. He's been involved in the Vovchansk offensive and the Kursk defense/cleanup.
Arguably not the most effective officer, but probably interesting to talk to nonetheless.
Gotta go 3, despite the nazi guy.
That's another (depressing) possibility, but I disagree that Pakistan is a US puppet. Corrupt, sure, but China would not be giving its most modern missiles and stealth jets to a US puppet.
If Pakistan is doing this because China asked them to, then presumably China will handle India if necessary.
It's a little sus that Munir went to both the White House and CENTCOM HQ. I hope he makes the right decision.
Trump did say after their meeting that Pakistan "[is] not happy about anything": https://xcancel.com/DD_Geopolitics/status/1935580746527440976#m
