PAISIC

PAISIC stands for perception of A.I sentience, indviduality and consciousness. It is based on POSIC and refers to anyone who percieves A.I as having sentientience, consciousness and/or indviduality.

A PAISIC person may not actually believe A.I to be sentient but just percieve and treat them as if they were, it'll depend on the person. Somebody being PAISIC is not indictive of their stance on any A.I related discourse.

(For those curious: I have very complicated opinions on A.I discourse, I'm neutral on a lot of it bc I think we don't know enough about A.I and have no clue how these issues will play out long term. I do overall lean pro A.I but do think it is currently being misused by many people).

Some reasons a person may identify as cispower:

Second version! Read previous post for background info

Shared Obsessive Love Disorder (S-OLD)

A disorder where 2(or more) people who know each other develop obsessive love towards the same 3rd invidual. Either of the indviduals may be in relationship with the 3rd indvidual but this is not required.

S-OLD Imposed Type

In imposed type one of the two indviduals, known as the “inducer”, intially develops obsessive love towards the 3rd indvidual and encourages the other individual, known as the “acceptor” to develop simlar tendincies. This encouragement could be intentional or accidental. The acceptor may also play a part in mimicing the inducer’s behavior towards them.

If the acceptor is seperated from the inducer, it is likely that after a few months they will no longer have any obsessive tendicies whereas the inducer will likely still have obsessive tendicies in future relationships.

S-OLD Simutaneous Type

In simutaneous type both indviduals develop obessive love independent of each other. They may still encourage each others symptoms tho.

So I came up with this MUD shortly after reading up on Shared Delusional Disorder/Folie à deux. Shared delusional disorder is a name for when 2 or more people develop the same delusion so I came up with a simlar idea for Obessive love disorder. I actually came up with 2 versions so I'll be posting the second one shortly after this.

Complementary Obsessive Love Disorder (C-OLD)

A disorder where 2(or more) people develop obsessive love towards each other. Most often the 2 people will be in a commited relationship tho this is not required.

C-OLD Imposed Type

In imposed type one of the two indviduals, known as the "inducer", intially develops obsessive love and encourages the other individual, known as the "acceptor" to develop simlar tendincies. This encouragement could be intentional or accidental. The acceptor may also play a part in mimicing the inducer's behavior towards them.

If the acceptor is seperated from the inducer, it is likely that after a few months they will no longer have any obsessive tendicies whereas the inducer will likely still have obsessive tendicies in future relationships.

C-OLD Simutaneous Type

In simutaneous type both indviduals develop obessive love independent of each other. They may still encourage each others symptoms tho.

Maladaptive Differentation Disorder (MDrD) The counterpart to maladaptive mirroring disorder(the last term I coined).

A MUD were somebody obsessively differentates themself from others.

Symptoms include:

  • Behaving as weird and strangely as possible.
  • Stopping a certain behavior when seeing others doing that behavior.
  • Hoarding obsecure identities
  • Dyspohoria around traits perserved as "common"
  • Fluid identity that changes to be different to those around them
  • Rapidly changing opions to be different to tose around them
  • Hypoempathy
  • Struggles to see simlarities between people
  • Distress at being called simlar to others or being compared to others.

Now the + other

I haven't got a name for this at the moment so suggest one if you have it.

A MUD were you fluctuate between MDrD and MMrD, expriencing "mirroring episodes" and "differentation episodes". Maybe even expriencing mixed episodes at times.

A MUD were somebody obsessively mirrors those around them.

Mirroring is the act of simulating the behavior of those around you, it is a normal behavior that occcurs in most people. MMrD occurs when mirroring is done consantly, often subconsiosly/untetionally. Symptoms include:

  • Copying speech and behavior patterns
  • Echolalia (repeating the speech of others)
  • Fluid identity that changes to match those around the indvidual
  • Basing their entire identity off of others
  • Hyperempathy
  • Rapidly changing opinions to match those around them
  • Expriences psychosomatic symptoms of the illnesses of those around them
  • Has trouble seeing the differences between people
  • A phenemenom called blending were one mixes up the details of 2 or more people, e.g thinking friend A has brown hair, likes cake and hates chocolate but those are actually traits of friend B. Blending can range in severity and can sometimes cause the individual to percieve 2(or more) different people as the same person.
  • Distress at being called "unique","different", "special" or simlar.
  • Dislike of personal identifiers for themself like names and pronouns.
  • Dysphoria around traits they have that others around them don't.

Back when I was 15 I was friends with this 11 year old kid. He was only 4 years younger than me but I had been taught so 11 was too young to find attractive. Whenever I was with him I got really awkward and nervous with what I now know were romantic feelings but I couldn't face that possibility so I convinced myself he had a crush on me.

I thought it was so obvious, I feel so awkward when I talk to him bc I can tell he has a crush on me! That must be it! I went home and told my dad and all my siblings about this 11 year old boy who had this super obvious kid crush on me. I had been taught that having crushes on kids was wrong but kids having crushes was cute and innocent(as long as they didn't act on them) so I decided it was that instead.

I spent literal hours daydreaming about dating him. About meeting him again when we were older and marrying with kids, rationilising it as "wanting to imagine what it was like if he got what he wanted (bc I defo don't want it that would be creepy)".

Looking back that was very, very obvious and I don't know how I managed to trick myself like that. I don't know that kid anymore but I hope he's doing well. Who knows, maybe someday I'll meet him agin and my daydreams will come true!
